Costa Coffee — Restaurant in East Lindsey

Popped into costa today as they had a 50p hot drink promotion. The service and the drink was spot on as always. I felt sorry for the workers though as they only had 2 staff on for such a big promotion. I overheard one of the staff say she had needed to nip to the toilet for the last 2 hours but couldn't because it was just so busy and no one could cover her. It was a free for all on the floor as there was no staff manning it (just the 2 behind the counter) customers were just diving in and not paying attention to the floor signs or the 2 meter rule, despite the staff telling them several times. It's a strange time at the moment with covid and having to adjust with all the new rules but costa should really look at their work methods and look after...

We arrived for a coffee the place was empty which is not a good sign but could see why the young ladies we polite and quick with the order,,the are we sat at was dirty and had to ask to be cleaned the wooden screen portion was super wobbly and looked like it could fall down and dirty Toilet hadn't been cleaned the smell was over powering dirty nappy just left on top.of bin,dirty toilet wet floor and toilet roll on floor, had to hold trousers up so wouldn't touch floor, sink was bad no soap so just used my hand wipes and my own sanitizer twice too be safe,,,hence we didn't stay in we opp to drink are drinks...

Came to Skeg (25/05/25) from Doncaster on a very hot coach. This costa was our first port of call. Can't express how amazing the staff are here. So helpful and such a lovely attitude, really helped with our frazzled nerves. On the way back to the coach popped back in, wonderful ladies here remembered our order, again amazing customer service..., truely wish we could steal these lovely ladies and have them in Doncaster. Really impressed and totally 100% recommend this Costa for atmosphere, amazing staff and...
