The staff are a joke, which other reviews here also seem to suggest. They said no space for 2 of us to sit outside to watch the band we travelled over an hour for to see, but they can move us outside soon when space is free’d up, the said. We sat waiting but then noticed they were sending groups of 4 or 6 outside to sit. What about us? Oh they forgot about us...not cared more like.

Then we were sat outside watching the bands, my pregnant partner still had a bit of drink to have which I was waiting for her to finish in her own time in which I was going to go to the toilet and buy 2 more drinks, we had a member of staff come up to us and said buy another drink or move as they need the seats. As they were being pushy about us not forcing drink down and didn't care for our custom, rather than buying another drink there as I was going to do we left and got a drink across the road in weatherspoons instead, at least you know what you get there and where you stand. The other strangers at our table said "did he really ask you to buy drinks or leave? That's well out of order" so they aren't looking good to other customers eyes that where also in there.

The first and only time I'll ever go there because the management of how that place is...

I use the Lumley on a regular basis during the 6 months of the year I am in the country. I attend the music events and generally all staff are polite friendly and engaging. However yesterday I had cause to challenge this member of staff whos name I do not know. This member of staff was blatantly pouring drinks and allowing regulars to queue jump and pay in front of many others like me queing for their drinks. Others in the queue also witnessed this but didnt make any comment. I did and when I challenged her I was rudely told that the person who had jumped the queue and paid for their drink was the owner...🤔 how many owners queue and pay for their drinks. Unfortunately for this member of staff I know who the owner is and they were not in the building at the time so I could not address the issue then. Can only hope the owner/ management team can address this issue and train this member of staff in correct customer...

I have been in this 'Pub/Restaurant', on flying visits, in 'Skegness', on a number of occasions. Situated not far from the 'Railway', &, 'Mini, Medievel, Open Air Bus Station (across the road), as well as a well known, cheap-ish supermarket, i won't advertise), i found the place to be fairly large for capacity, but pretty quiet on this last visit. The staff were friendly, &, polite, the place was spotless throughout, they have a large outside 'Smokers Area', out of the front of the building, &, have a huge garden. They boast an extensive, large menu too. I didn't have a meal myself but, those i saw that did, it could have fed 2 children, or, 2 'O.A.P's. It is a very handy stop off pub, should you have to catch a train, &, without having to rush, especially if it is a last one. I highly...

Great location as just opposite the train and bus station and at the end of chip pan alley, ad its known, the paved over road down to the sea front. Ordered a large cooked breakfast and it was very well cooked, no grease at all. Good service too. We stayed to watch the singer as it started raining. He did two sets, really good entertainer and good voice too. Later on in the afternoon a band came on stage but not our taste in music. Busy throughout the day, with groups of adults meeting up for a drink. Lovely beers. Always been one of my favourite pubs in Skegness and still is.

A good atmosphere, fair pricing on cocktails/shots decent music and offer football on tv. Anna was amazing in there she really went above and beyond for us. however the manager is rude and on a power trip. Told me I was been rude because I told him how to do a shot as the way it was going to be done was the wrong ingredients. I wasn't rude i even said and asked how i was being rude. His reply, make that your last drink. We had spent all day in there until that point. He asked me to leave 🤣 other then that it's great. Thank goodness for the other staff are are nice.
