The place was clean, the staff could use some manners or at least smile. There was one lady there when we asked if we could bring a dog in she wasn’t very friendly. Then we sat down and due to our puppy getting anxious as my partner went out and smoked I did apologise for the puppy being anxious and the look and customer service was none existent. We did not feel comfortable at all. Would of spoke to the manager but we thought if that’s the attitude they have there would be no point. There was a customer problem with another customer and instead of going out of other customers hearing they aired it on flooring in front of customers. They placed their orders a while after us but got their food first, all of them. Ours arrived 15 minutes after the other table's last meal arrived. Run by working class folk with a friendly attitude and friendly prices. Our favourite is the Sunday carvery with generous portions and to top it all comes with a pudding included in the price.
