Trunch Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in East Lindsey

Went in for breakfast this morning with my wife brother and son as I’d noticed it looked clean on my arrival and we had a coffee on the Saturday. We all had a full English breakfast and a coffee. The coffee was filter but not fresh and we didn’t have enough milk between us. Breakfast arrived and to say we were disappointed was an understatement. The sausage was clearly reheated and rubbery. They looked like they were cooked and warmed up in the microwave. The tomatoes were chopped tomatoes not whole ones which I use for cooking not breakfast. Beans were cold and bacon had black bits all over it. My black pudding had a frazzled hair on it which the waitress saw me remove. Toast was soggy, my brother had paid for all of our breakfast so I felt compelled to eat mine but it was the worst breakfast I’ve had in these parts and I’ve had a lot over the years. My brother left his on the plate after eating half a sausage. Service was terrible. Seemed to be run by nothing short of teenage children. Nobody asked us if we were happy or even spoke to us even after we left. Me my son and brother had the belly buster breakfast and my wife medium breakfast in total it was around £24. Why it was pre cooked and reheated was a complete shock to me as it doesn’t take that long to cook and I’m sure people would rather wait and enjoy there fresh breakfast then get up and walk out not having finished. It was obvious from the shock on our faces and the fact we didn’t even eat it was clear. Nobody said a word there didn’t seem to be an adult supervising the service by very young staff. Bad atmosphere as a member of staff approached my wife and asked her to change her dress there is absolutely no dress code they should really state how they expect people to dress if they want to insult people for wearing dresses it's really dingy inside we ordered food and my wife stated four times she wanted a portion of chips and they ignored her and I'm the end she had nothing also we ordered an apple juice for our child and they sent orange juice they clearly can't follow simple instructions which is absolutely vital as a restraunt owner/waiter waitress then when my wife was asked if everything was OK she told a lovely waitress who said she can only pay for half because of the error on the waiters behalf the waiter who took our order also tried to make her pay the full amount and argued with her saying she didn't ask for her order despite being told by our son who also heard her say what she wanted very disappointed in the end she did only pay half but its very overpriced for...

We came here last year and the food was to die for really very good to the point we eat here most days of our hoilday.. we had a 2nd meal in there yesterday after being down here since Saturday this year and unfortunately I don't know what's happened but on both of occasions it was so salty it was virtually pretty impossible to eat I thought first time witch was Saturday it may of been me putting to much salt on it as it does come out to fast but after we had a meal in there again last night and I didn't use salt it still felt like I was eating it off the sea bed I'm gutted cause me and my family love this place but until thay sort this out we will not be going back and finding alternatives places to eat please guys if your reading this stop over seasoning your food with salt and...
