Like many people I went because it was something new. Walking in I thought I was in a coffee shop as it's not really set up as a 'restaurant'. Of course it had the automated order boards in front of the tills, that had assistants twiddling their thumbs doing nothing. The ordering boards are a little confusing but I put that down as the menu being new to me. It was really difficult to find where the meals where as it seemed to be pushing the donuts to the forefront. I ordered the double cheese burger meal which included the lattice fries, and paid extra for a large strawberry milkshake. I thought I'd check out the donuts and ordered the Apple pie donut and the timbits to take home. My husband ordered the double cheese burger too with a banoffee shake but had to change for a strawberry milkshake as they didn't have it. The burgers seemed to be an afterthought on the menu. The restaurant isn't set up for comfortably eating a burger, having more comfy wing back chairs and low small tables. I sat at one of the few tables that I would expect to eat a meal at. First impressions of the burger reminded me of five guys in the way the burger was wrapped. I was completed disappointed with the burger and it reminded me of a cheap frozen Birdseye burger. There was seriously nothing special about it. The lattice fries where stale and could tell they'd been sitting for a while. I enjoyed the milkshake but wasn't worth the extra I had to pay. The only thing that won me over was the donut but I had hoped it would as tim Hortons is well known in Canada for it's donuts. Unfortunately the timbits where incredibly stale and I could've used them as golf balls. Plus I didn't get the mixture I should have. I thought I'd check out the WiFi and I have to say it was faster than most places. The restaurant wasn't busy, with a few students making use of the WiFi. Overall I was incredibly disappointed especially because it's only just opened. My order cost £27.75 with the 'meal deal' costing £7.49 plus the £1.50 uplift for the milkshake. Premium prices for something that isn't worth it. If you want a donut and a coffee it's not too bad but it definitely isn't a burger place. Unfortunately I can't see the branch lasting in the spot it has. I'll probably try it one more time to try the breakfasts and they look quite nice. I honestly wanted to love my experience, and the only reason I gave it 2 stars was for the donut. I'd say try it at least once but that's it.

Very happy to see a Tim Horton’s after discovering the brand whilst travelling through Canada last month. It’s a modern building, very clean and spacious with comfy seating in a range of options, from standard height tables with chairs, to coffee table and easy chair / sofa style options. We both had breakfast muffin with sausage and egg, a recognised formula, but it was hot and fresh and delicious and not at all greasy! Great coffee in three size options, but the small isn’t small at all so be prepared if you ā€˜go large’! Staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful :) Toilets are individual and unisex, very modern and very clean! Everything here is just what I’d expect from a Canadian company :)

Awful. I’m comparing this to other Tim Hortons. Food (Tim’s double cheeseburger) squashed and thrown together. Served in takeaway bag despite order for ā€œeat inā€. Naveed came and wiped down tables - this involved spraying tables from a distance and smearing the spray partially around the table and avoiding any crumbs left by previous diners and leaving tables wet. The place has only been open a few days so either no training or no pride. Great to see franchisee has got staff to place reviews on here though. My receipt pictured for authenticity.

Went to this place twice, with my wife & our children. Our first experience was bad. The service was pretty bad, no welcome or acknowledgement as you enter, just staff standing around chatting to each other. Slow turn around to be served. Staff were all India & Muslim in a supposedly authentic Canadian coffee diner experience. Food was cold, tasteless & missing items in multiple parts of our orders. They forgot to put sauce in with our orders. Then they wanted to charge 50p per sauce x5, I had to explain again that they forgot to include the sauce & I am not trying to order extra sauce. Then, when I returned to our table, I was shocked to find an order of fries that literally contained 3 fries like 3 individual fries. Where on earth were the rest 🤣. Then I looked at my receipt to find an extra 50p was added next to my coffee order, so up I go again to sort out the issue with my fries & the added 50p for the coffee. Turns out there is a 50p charge for having a drop of milk in any of your hot drinks, not listed anywhere, though, on the menu or posters, etc. Also, the hot drink was part of a set meal deal price, so there are infact hidden charges. Finally feeling annoyed & disappointed but not wanting to ruin my family's meal I return to our table to eat a cold, bland & boring meal. When leaving, the staff were bribing customers to leave positive feedback, reviews & let their friends & family know of their great time at Tim Hortons by giving out free cheap, bland & rather ugly coffee mugs. I declined mine. Needless to say, I am not going back there. This place has only just opened & the standard is already so bad. It can't get much lower than this. One last thing to mention, especially for families with young children/babies, is that the toilet & changing facilities are absolutely disgusting. There was tap water on the floor, wee on the toilet seats & poo stains painting the toilet bowl. It made me feel concerned that maybe staff are not so great with hygiene at this place. Also, they should hand out pegs to customers wanting to use the toilets. This diner is brand new, but it's already run so poorly. I would never willingly eat here again! REMEMBER there are lots of fake positive reviews about this place because customers were bribed with free coffee mugs in exchange for good reviews. Bear that in mind too & consider very carefully if you want to spend your hard earned money at this dump of a place. There are so many other quality places to eat at & at...

Saw this restaurant pop up where Frankie & Bennys used to be and decided to check it out. Over the course of a month I’ve popped in a handful of times and tried different menu items.

The food: The beef burgers aren’t worth their space on the screen, they’re bland and very underwhelming. The patties are greasy and have that iconic super market budget frozen patte taste. However the chicken burger, chicken wrap and vegetarian wrap are very fresh and worth returning for. The waffle fries are also fantastic and I wish more British fast food chains would adopt them.

The coffee: Sticking to standard americano, the coffee is somewhere between McDonald’s coffee and Costa coffee. It has a nice balance of fullness and refreshing acidity without the harshness and richness you’d find from Costa. Definitely worth a visit for just the coffee in my opinion.

I can’t comment on the pastries and confectionery as that just isn’t something I personally enjoy.

The pricing seems fairly competitive with us spending around £8-9 per person for a drink, fries and main. Which I think in todays butchered economy is quite good.

Don’t really see much of the staff as they’re busy in the back but the few encounters I’ve had have been short and pleasant.

Would definitely recommend popping in and checking out what the establishment has to offer. It’s very quiet...
