My experience with Woodbridge Costa is not good. The staff is rude and talk about you right in front of you. I once went in to order a drink and I couldnāt hear what the worker was asking me as it was quite loud in there. I politely asked what he said but I still couldnāt hear. I felt a bit embarrassed that I had to ask again but I kindly apologised that I couldnāt hear and asked them to repeat what he said. The worker then rolled his eyes and sighed very heavily in an annoyed manner. This did not help as I was already embarrassed that I couldnāt hear. I was only young at the time and felt quite offended. I apologised again but the worker showed no sympathy and sighed again. The worker was very rude and unprofessional. Another time I went in it was boiling hot and I was extremely thirsty so I asked for a cup of water. I was with my friends (they also asked for water) and as the staff were filling up our cups they said that we only wanted it for the Costa cup even though we just wanted water.They also said other bad stuff. If you ask for an extra shot it takes the price to £4.15 for the coffee. In Nero you get two shots as standard, for about 50p less, and nearly every other coffee shop as well. Also can someone tell me why they charge more for flat white than cappuccino and latte which are pretty much the same but one has more milk that is frothy and the other just has more milk, so basically they are charging more for you having less milk, no wonder Costa are having to close shops. If you like proper coffee go to Nero if you like coffee flavoured milk...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited Woodbridge Costa on 13/04/24 and were extremely shocked by the lady who served us. I really politely asked for as much milk as possible in my takeaway tea. She filled it to the very top and I again very politely and tentatively asked if it may leak with the lid on, as it was already spilling over the top. I couldnāt believe the sarcastic and rude response that I received. Her whole tone and body language were horrendous and we were made to feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome. We have always found the staff in Ipswich so friendly and helpful and we really hope that nobody else has to experience this...
