Partner and I were both charged full price for what have been two eat in sandwich deal combos. I raised this with the cashier at the till who claimed that it was only baguettes which isn't true, both the signage indicated our mains (a chicken and bacon sandwich and potato bhajie salad) were applicable for the deal and our drinks didn't require an extra fee, this has never been a problem elsewhere. I think her coworker tried to tell her otherwise but either way she put it through at full price and seemed to do the same for several other people whilst we were still on site. The sandwich was dry though partner liked the salad. Would have asked to speak to a supervisor to get it corrected but didn't because it was during the lunch rush. I try not to be judgemental about service as someone in catering who has made their own mistakes, but this is absolutely something that my managers would have pulled me up for and retrained me through, especially in the cost of living crisis when extra pounds mean...

In all seriousness they don't just do pastys these days and are trying to spread their appeal beyond the chav and its working.
You can get various breakfast offerings, nice coffee ad well as sandwiches and salads, they even do healthy options now too. The old favourite pasty and sweet treats are still there, but the offering really has increased the appeal.
The have the new look cafe area, where you can sit and gave a coffee with friends, grab you lunch or perhaps have a romantic pasty for two, with a nice vintage fizzy drink, followed by London Cheesecake and finished off with a coffee course.
