one of my favorite places i’ve been in the whole world!!! (not kidding lol) this little seaside fish and chips stand is quite honestly a community hub for the most lovely and diverse human beings living around eastbourne. it is a safe space, truly. you will meet the most beautiful people and eat the best fish and chips you’ve ever had. and the ice cream? amazing. the vibes? immaculate. your stomach and heart? full.

John the owner is really friendly & chatty . We were doing the St Wilfred’s walk and on the way back fancied some chips , which btw were amazing . John gave us his own plastic plates for our food to take away , which we returned the next day . Whilst I was having a coffee there today on my dog walk so many people came by & recommended him .. all regulars ! This says a lot about him , his food & service . Well done John . Drawn here for lunch after reading a really positive review in "Bournefree". John cooked up a storm in his white sea bubble with his friendly labradoodle, Cooper enchanting all the clientele. Had the freshest of fresh, catch of the day, delicious beer battered haddock with chips of course. A perfectly positioned venue for open-air dining near the pier with great sea views with great and relaxing company . Thank you John. See you soon.
