For more than seven years, I have been a loyal patron of this delightful Indian restaurant, which I consider my go-to spot dining in and for takeaway meals. Every time I order from here , I am never disappointed as the food is always mouth-watering, leaving me craving for more. My siblings are always quick to request the lamb biriyani, which they pair with a serving of garlic naan and lamb jalfrezi. The lamb biriyani is an expertly prepared dish that is full of flavour, and the garlic naan adds a touch of garlic that elevates the taste to another level. The lamb jalfrezi, on the other hand, is tender, succulent, and served with just the right amount of spice, making it a hit with my siblings. As for me, I always find myself drawn to the King Prawn Nilgiri, which is the perfect choice for me because of my gastric issues. This dish is sweet and mild, making it a favourite for those who cannot handle the heat of spicy food. The restaurant's chefs clearly understand the importance of catering to different dietary requirements, and this is evident in the quality of their dishes. What's more, the restaurant's ambiance is quite remarkable, setting it apart from other curry houses that I've been to in the past. Unlike some other curry houses, this restaurant is immaculate, from the spotless toilets to the overall cleanliness of the dining area. The staff members are very polite, respectful, and unobtrusive, making the dining experience all the more pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable Indian dining experience. Whether you are a fan of spicy food or prefer something milder, this restaurant has something for everyone. With exceptional food quality, impeccable hygiene standards, and excellent customer service, it's no wonder I keep...
Read moreWe visited this place for dinner between 8:45 PM and 9:00 PM on 30th May 2024. After selecting some items from the menu, we approached the cashier to place our order. While finalizing our choices, we inquired about a prawn item, specifically asking if it was a curry. The cashier responded with an insulting laugh and asked if we didn't know this. When I explained that we are not from India and are unfamiliar with the dish, he continued to give us an insulting look and a humiliating smile.
We felt deeply embarrassed and unwelcome due to his behavior. If you need proof, I urge you to review the CCTV footage from that evening. You will be able to see his facial expressions and hand signs directed toward us. This experience led us to cancel our order and leave the restaurant. We subsequently went to another nearby Indian restaurant where we received much better service.
This incident was the only negative experience we had during our visit to Eastbourne. I urge you to address this issue to prevent such poor customer service in the future. We were very disappointed and felt disrespected by your staff...
Read moreFood better than most seaside towns curry houses I have been in the UK so far. If you are an Asian or Asian family then do not expect any respect from them. They wouldn't care if you leave. Food took almost 25 mins to arrive since they get a few online orders but as I said earlier it was good. Only disappointment in Food was indian chapati which apprantely supermarket pre made thing. The reason I made a remark about their rudeness was when we came in there was no one else until then in the early evening and the manager behind bar told the assistant "Put them in the corner." Wow! PUT THEM didn't help and also throughout keeping an eye on us was also creepy. The corner was also a very small corner of table for 4, corner chairs next to wall. So if u want to come out then you would need to make the person next to you get up. It was also right next to Bar where the manager was. I guess he wanted to keep a close eye in case I run with my small children without paying. 😀 I have taken a walk in the area and there are other curry houses and will try them during my short holiday here. Good...
