Meeze Restaurant in Eastbourne has undoubtedly earned its reputation as the best Turkish restaurant within a 50-mile radius of Eastbourne, and it's easy to understand why. Having been a loyal patron for several years, I can confidently say that Meeze never fails to impress, and I will continue to return without hesitation. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor reflects the rich cultural heritage of Turkey, creating an authentic dining experience that feels like a journey to another world. The attentive and friendly staff further enhance the dining experience, making you feel like an honored guest. Now, let's talk about the food. Meeze's menu is a tantalizing journey through Turkish cuisine, offering a wide array of dishes that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, there's something for everyone. The kebabs, grilled to perfection, are a highlight, and the mezze platters are a delightful way to start your meal. What sets Meeze apart is the consistent quality of both the food and the service. Each visit is a reminder of why I keep coming back. Whether it's a special occasion or just a casual dinner out, Meeze Restaurant in Eastbourne has become my go-to place for an unforgettable Turkish dining experience. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Very good experience on a busy Saturday night. This place can seat about 40 and it was full. Nevertheless, service was quick and the food came at a decent speed. The food is the star here. We had 3 different dishes and all we well cooked, excellently spiced and very tasty. Portions were large as well, with plenty of food on the plate. Some free bread with olives to start as well as a mini Turkish pizza each just added to the evening. We had a dessert as well. Typical Turkish sweets, full of syrup and very well made. The baklava was one of the best we've ever had. Prices for what we had were reasonable as well, coming in at just below £28 per head. We didn't have any alcohol, so if you do, you can expect a significant increase. The owners were friendly and did not bother us too much, leaving us to enjoy our food. You really must book at this place. I saw 3 different couples turned away as they did not have a booking. Good food, reasonably priced in a nice environment with good service. Very highly recommended.

What an amazing party we had. Once again this restaurant has provided a truly memorable experience. It was my wife’s birthday and we booked for a table of 18 people. As ever they were very accommodating. We pre ordered the food and chose the tables. I was able to arrive early in the afternoon to do the party decorations. We were preparing for a family visit to Turkey. So this was a perfect place for us to celebrate. As ever the food was delightful. From the plates of delectable Mezze starters through to the heaped plates of succulent grilled meats. Tender lean lamb, melt in the mouth chicken. Amazingly seasoned Kofta. Fantastic breads and salad to accompany it all. Washed down with plenty of Turkish red wine and Efes lager. Everyone was very happy with the fabulous meal, amazing service and friendliness of the family run business. The atmosphere was perfect. Thank you for everything. We’ll be back soon.

I have visited this restaurant a few years ago. It was nice so decided to book a table again. BIG MISTAKE. We ordered starters, cold and hot dishes. Hot dish wasn't even warm. Main courses were cold too. My daughter ordered ribs which were ok but the rest of her meal was cold. The same with mine, I had lamb chops which again were ok but the rest of the meal was COLD. My husband's Main course Guvec lacked taste and was nothing like the Turkish classic found in many other visited restaurants. He also ordered a beer and received an extra strong effes which is no big deal but just lacked attention to detail. I fully understand they were extremely busy and were probably plating up meals in preparation for cooked meats. It wasn't cheap and I expected better, I guess my expectations are greater than what was offer, but just hot food surely isn't too much to ask for. I know they popular but there is so many better restaurants locally, I definitely won't be coming back. Without going on , I found it quite worrying that during covid-19 the manager/owner felt it was ok to shake hands and hug regular customers, though adequate neither toilet had soap this was an issue for me. The people that worked their were...
