Picasso Express Ltd — Restaurant in Eastbourne

Had an absolutely amazing meal at this hidden gem in Old Town Eastbourne. Weve often had takeaway pizzas, which are amazing, but we have been really amiss not to have eaten in, because we had one of the best Italian meals we've had since bring in Italy. I had the Mussels in garlic and cream sauce, which was truly a mouthwatering extravaganza, i love mussels, but these were unbelievably delicious, and my husband had the Calzone, which he said is the best he's had since the one he had one in Lake Garda...and he's a chef!! The service was outstanding, lovely smiley and very helpful young and customer friendly staff and the speed of the food was great too. We literally popped out to get something to eat locally after a long week at work, and ended up raving over a gorgeous little restaurant 5 minutes from where we live...suffice to say...we will be returning. I never knew this beautiful spot was just up the road! We visited for my Auntie's Birthday and they couldn't have picked a better place.

You're greeted by a lovely smile and such friendly staff. I couldn't have been happier with how continously helpful everyone was, it made the atmosphere of the place complete.

I had the calamari to start, the Salsiccia Pesto pizza for my main and the homemade Bannoffe pie for pudding. The calamari was so succulent and the sauce was gorgeous. I honestly won't be ordering pizza from anywhere else again, i can't say I've ever had a pizza that good. The fact the Bannoffe pie was homemade just made it complete.

I will be recommending this beautiful place to everyone, its kid friendly (my son has insisted we eat here for his birthday) it's a beautiful atmosphere with beautiful food and staff.

Excellent Italian; my favourite pizzas in all of Eastbourne. My family also enjoyed the pasta and risotto but I’m a pizza addict who orders several times a month and never disappointed. Have been using this restaurant for a while and the pizzas are always cooked perfectly, great dough and great ingredients, good balance on the pizzas. The pizzas are thin crust, but not Neapolitan style or floppy and maybe closer to something like a New York pizza style, just the right thickness of crust and has nice crisp/crust.
