The Two Bulls Steakhouse — Restaurant in Eastbourne

This restaurant truly is one of the best I have ever been to. I had the steak burger previously with a bonoffee pie for pudding and it was 10 out of 10. This time we came for my partners little girls birthday as this is where she said she wanted to come. There is a lady called Rose that works there and she absolutely loves her to bits and she specifically asks after her so she was really happy that she was working that eveing. All the staff are amazing, attentative and friendly. The food is exceptional! Me and my partner both had double rib eye steaks that were cooked to absolute perfection! We also had chocolate fudge cake and bonoffee pie for puddings. Both were absolutely incredible. By far the best steak and the best pudding I have ever eaten out anywhere. The chef and staff really are amazing. Along with the outstanding food, what more could you ask for!? This is definitely my number 1 place to go if we are looking for a treat or somewhere to have a really nice meal out. It's been difficult for us to get there as much as we would like to but we all can't wait to return as soon...

Addendum to my original review below. It's 4 years later, and I was so impressed with this venue we took my Dad here for his 90th birthday. The venue is under new management as of 2 years ago, but as one of the new owners is a long term chef here, the standards remain consistently high. Wonderful food. Brilliant staff, and a great ambience. All at very reasonable prices. I am very happy to stand by my original review below.

We recently went here to take my mother-in-law out for a surprise birthday treat. Booked on spec from reviews like this on the web from a 100 miles away, I hoped it would live up to the billing. It surpassed it by miles. The staff could not be more helpful. The food was amazing. All cooked fresh to order. None of this pre-prepped rubbish from the chain pubs. Steaks were "spot on" a ordered, and the prices very reasonable for such good fare. I an very happy to Echo the previous reviews, and thoroughly recommend it. Myself and a friend decided to go here. He had been there before so he knew it was good. First of all we went to the pub next door which is attached. The EXTREMELY friendly barman in there kept us stocked up on his Long Island Iced Tea while we were awaiting our table. We were shown to our seats by a wonderfully friendly guy who then introduced us to our server who was hands down the happiest person I have ever met. Not only was he upbeat and friendly but he also ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food itself.... Just WoW!!!!! Steak cooked to perfection (They were a bit tight on the peppercorn sauce but hey ho). Salad (yehhhh thats what you want with a dench steak lol) had a wonderful sweet / tangy dressing and the chips were also very close to perfect!. All in all a great evening. The evening was made by both the environment and the wonderfully happy staff! Not one smile was the wrong way round.... Defo going again!!!! See...
