The price of the wraps have increased significantly since my last order, while the wraps have shrunk considerably. It used to be my favourite takeout and I've not used for a year or so, but won't use again, I feel like I've been mugged. New owners maybe, or just seeing what they can get away with? I would get more doner meat on a £5 donna and chips, but apparently if you put less meat in, remove the chips and wrap it up in flat bread, that warrants a £12 price tag.
It was an hour and a half after ordering that it finally arrived. No valid order tracking on Uber Eats, I phoned up once about 20 minutes after the latest delivery window had passed and the person barely spoke English, which wasn't the case in the past either. Chips needed reheating in the microwave, burger was soaking wet where it had clearly been in the unrecyclable foam container for an extended period of time.
By the way, the single use foam containers you use for food have been illegal in the UK since last year.
I would say it's the worst takeout experience I have had in some time. They don't seem to care, don't seem to have any passion or any enjoyment from what they're doing, which translates into shoddy food and shoddy service.
I see on here that he's calling customers liars!

Read moreI have waited 1 hour 15 ,inutes for my delivery to arrive. The delivery man went to the wrong house & phoned to say he was there! One of us had to wait outside in the cold because we couldn't see him! The delivery was wrong! No sauce whatsoever & the saladfs wrong. The meat was not very hot! We phoned up & the woman was so rude! She hung up on us & then blocked our phone number. We tried again from another number & she did the samw! She was very, very rude - it was the same woman who took the order & she obviously can't understand properly. We have paid a lot of money for rubbish - & I wiill be reporting AA Charcoal Grill to the Trading Standards Office on Monday. We asked if the driver could bring the sauces & correct salad round - NO!!! We then asked if he could come back & give us the money back & we would give him the faulty food - NO - that was when she slammed the phone down. Very, very rude woman. We have been customers of theirs for a few years and although they have always been on the longer side of delivery times, recently they have gone so downhill. We waited over 2 hours for our order to actually arrive (calling 3 times in the process and always being told it was on its way or it would be 15 minutes). I could understand if it was a friday or saturday but being thursday evening this is ridiculous. When it finally arrived we had an item missing and the food was barely luke warm and had the consistency of an old leather boot. It was so disgusting we threw most of it away. When I called to complain they didn't believe me that something was missing stating it was impossible. They didn't take ownership that they messed up and the only thing they came up with was 20%off the next order over the phone. I am left hungry, out of pocket and feeling sick. Do not order from here! There are much nicer places that have quicker delivery, better food and better...
