AJ's Kitchen Wellington — Restaurant in England

This review is split in 2:- For the food it's 5 stars For the service it's a 2/3 stars, I ordered a standard breakfast and a latte. Sitting where I was it was obvious that the customers entering were not sure whether to sit and order or stand at desk and order. I decided to sit and eventually someone came to take my order of a standard breakfast and latte. The breakfast turned up and the waitress then was reminded about me waiting for my drink which she did apologize for being late as she gave it to me. Then my toast came after I had been eating for a while which was strange, why wasn't it with my breakfast. I came here with my family and definitely will be returning. We ordered the classic AJ’s Big Breakfast and a portion of as I believe Telford’s best handcut cheesy chips. The presentation of the food was on point with the addition of a hot milky coffee. I was also given a valentines sweet on the side of the drink. My little cousin especially liked the ducks within the cafe as it makes it feel more cosy with its bright colours. The staff are always so polite and always welcome their customers as soon as they enter. My favourite part was how when leaving they gave my little cousin a free rubber duck and a lollipop as they could see his interest in the ducks. This cafe is definitely the best...

I used to love this café and often came here for the English breakfast, which used to be high-quality and delicious. Unfortunately, today was a real disappointment. The food was overly greasy, there was no fresh tomato as there used to be, and the toast was served with margarine instead of butter. To make things worse, the cup for my tea was dirty.
