I was lucky enough to receive my advent calender this weekend and it did not disappoint. It arrived by post and blows away the generic mass produced rubbish that is flogged at thisntime of year. Unfortunately, seemingly, since Chocolatiers became Aleksandra's the quality of the chocolates has gone DOWN DOWN DOWN, we are sorry to report. Love to support local business and we are locals, but the product has got to be good and sadly today, the 30th November, 2019, the chocolates were synthetic and redolent of cheap, mass produced choco fodder - which you would never have said about Chocolatiers. Dirty table on arrival, waited 45 minutes for two sandwiches my wife ordered cranberry and brie, I ordered crab. When mine arrived it had been cut with the same knife so the bread was covered in cranberry, they did remake my sandwich but it was tasteless almost like it was frozen crab.
