Amigos Pizza — Restaurant in England

Hot stuff? Not likely. Terrible. Delivered late (called my wife to ask for directions, after the expected delivery time) and stone cold. Called to complain/request a refund to be given a cock and bull story about a driver being pulled over by police. If it was true it's A: not my problem and B: perhaps you need to have a word with your drivers about their driving practices. The person I spoke to wouldn't do me the courtesy of giving me his name, and wasn't any help, telling me to contact Just Eat about a refund (FYI it's the takeaway that needs to issue the refund). Thankfully, spoke to a nice chap from Just Eat, who called Amigos and called me straight back to say a refund would be issued. I feel I was made to make a completely unnecessary call as this could have been sorted by Amigos. So not only are they incapable of delivering hot food to your door, their customer service is...

Pizza was delivered cold and undercooked so I complained. Was not offered any recompense so I asked if they could replace to which they asked me to bring it in. I asked for a delivery as i didn't have a car. They picked it up eventually then called me and basically said I was lying and there was nothing wrong with the pizza. I obviously disagreed otherwise why would I send it back, I was hungry! But my other big issue is about the way in which my complaint was handled, it was absolutely amateur, guy was also very rude. 0 marks for customer service. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Needless to say i told them to keep the pizza and my money they obviously need all the help they can get for staff training. A regular whenever we visit Middlesbrough (3hr trip from Birmingham and we always pick Amigos when we get here), the customer service was terrible. Ordered on the app whilst stood in the store, did so as I did not have cash on me (they dont accept card instore). Waited 20 mins thinking that the order is being cooked as app said it was, then staff asked have I ordered to which I replied "Yes, 20 mins ago"... looking puzzled the staff member looked around for the order slip which was right infront of his face on the counter the whole time he stood there. Asked for an explanation, wanting speak to a manager as to why this has occurred, no real answer given. The order was then processed which took another 20 mins. 40 mins standing in the shop waiting is not acceptable, all I got was a "sorry about that" before I left... Overall...
