Asha Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Ordered food from here purely based upon the Google reviews and I have to honest about it, the food was a big letdown. Food was bland with no detectable chilli whatsoever, Lamb curry had about 3 small bits of lamb in a bland tomato sauce that was more like a pasta sauce, zero chilli detected. Chicken curry was about 5 very thin slices of precooked chicken breast (probably around half a chicken breast in total, totally tasteless in another sauce that again was lacking any chilli and instead was very sweet instead. I always use Google reviews when buying food and this has to the most disappointing experience, there were 8 of us and we all agreed that the food was pretty awful and nothing like the reviews suggested, perhaps they were just having a bad day or something, I don't know. I know what we got was not even close to any curries that I've eaten before.

I think it's fair to say these were the worst curries I have ever attempted to eat, we all instead went to Lidl and got some stuff to make some sandwiches and cheese on toast, we left the curries out for the seagulls rather than waste them, but they didn't eat them either so they ended...

Visit to Falmouth, and headed out to venture for some spicy food, came across this place, and was very disappointed with the level of service here just felt like leaving as soon as our drinks were served, ordered a beer and a pineapple Malibu, taste was real odd of the pineapple Malibu so started reading the bottle of the juice only to notice the bottle of the pineapple juice had expired 5 months back, mentioned this to the waiter, he said ok don’t drink it no apology, later came back to say that was the only bottle that expired but didn’t offer a replacement of the drink, so I just had water, should’ve left after however hubby insisted we stay n eat, big disappointment the mixed grill was rubbery lamb, no taste.. bland taste the lamb chefs special was also bland, not at all tasty, had better Indian cuisine this place is not for the one who knows the simple authentic Indian recipes this place lacks In Indian spice and I would also feel as they can not even check drink expiry dates which makes me wonder the food served could even be cooked with expired ingredients, didn’t feel confident. Angry, and disappointed…I have been going to this restaurant for many years, I don’t know the current staff… I thought I’d impress my friend and take them for a meal there. She ordered what she would normally order at home but it was too hot with chilly🥵 I asked the waiter if they could cool it down, but he said no because she is vegan so they cannot add cream…I suggested coconut milk and mango chutney…they still said no, I said okay…can we get a milder dish please… They said yes but they will have to still charge us for the first. I said listen this dish is not a medium there is way too much chilli in it which is not our fault…can you please change it.

They again refused, I then asked them if the restaurant had changed hands…because this would not have happened before.
