This review is based on the Patisserie only as we didn’t try the restaurant. We were drawn to the sweet delights from the window when we were in Cockermouth so had to give the patisserie a go. Upon entering we were overwhelmed by amount of choice. From cookies to cakes and everything in between. There were many Turkish items. Everything was clean and the staff were pleasant enough. One of the girls was able to give a couple of recommendations. We opted for a couple of cookies, 2 mousy cakes (can’t remember the name) and a giant Dubai chocolate bar. The cookies were large and looked appealing. However, they were too dry in my opinion. They were more of a biscotti than a cookie. We prefer a soft gooey centre. We agreed they would have been enjoyed more if they were dunked into a class of milk. The cakes on the other hand were delightful! Soft and super tasty. Very indulgent indeed. Finally, the Dubai chocolate bar was also very good, yet expensive. However, it was certainly more affordable than other ones I’ve had and just as tasty. All in all I’d recommend stopping here if you are passing through Cockermouth and craving something sweet and wanting something of higher quality than your usual...

We were staying in Keswick for a little family get away for my wife’s birthday and we thankfully found this amazing restaurant by pot luck. The hotel we stayed at had amazing food but we thought let’s try something different close by and we were so glad we actually rolled the dice on this place as we were just completely mesmerised by the whole experience. The restaurant is located in a very narrow little alley way just of the main road and naturally we was sceptical as soon as we parked up but once we step inside that’s when we were just blown away. The staff were amazing and friendly, the thing that caught me most is the cleanliness as I even joked saying you could even eat your meal in the bathroom because everywhere was just sparkling. We drove up from London so as you can imagine we have no shortage of Turkish restaurants but this place I can say hands down it has to be some of the best Turkish food I have tasted it was literally amazing. Hats off to the owners and staff, defenetly not forgetting the chef I wish I could give more than 5 stars as it had been over 3 months and we still talk about this place I would defenetly visit this place again if we could...

RUDE STAFF!!

What an experience. Me and my Turkish girlfriend came in to eat. We have been shocked by the prices but decided to proceed anyways due to the good ratings and we said we will not drink anything to save some money. My girlfriend ordered in Turkish and it took longer than usual and I asked what's going on as I don't speak Turkish. She said our waiter was insisting to order drinks and she said we will not as these prices are too much. From this point it was a nightmare. 6-8 Turkish man stood in the kitchen talking and staring at us...

They brought the food, it was less than average. The lamb chops was very chewy and the rice tasteless. We said nothing... A short and chubby man was staring at me and showed me rude hand gestures and said "I'm the chef" and went into the kitchen šŸ¤·šŸ» okay... so I know who ruined our food šŸ˜…

This place is a daytime robbery where CHICKEN WINGS costs £21 🤣like how? The cheapest part of the chicken is above £20 in this restaurant. Just to let you know how much these meals should cost I'll attach an other restaurant menu.

Hırsızlığı takdir...

It is a very nice restaurant, highly recommend it. Nice tasty food, lots of options and some nice drink too. We drunk a glass of white - chardonnay and a glass of red - rioja wine. Price are ok (for this time as everything is more expensive as was before). I think the small glasses of wine were around £5,75 each and the food were £19/each. We did not ask starter, but we got some flat bread with butter, olives and gherkins before our main. My dish was a bit oily for me but i am sure for someone else is perfect - lamb minced with spinach veges and egg on the top. After the meal we drunk coffee -no dessert as we were full, i tried the turkish coffee, was realy good and i got some nice traditional information for that. The service was great and staff are really kind, nice, helpful and funny too. You feel they look after you and want to be sure that everything is going well during your dinner time. I suggest to book a table as they are very busy. Bathroom very clean and tidy. As the whole resraurant. Thank you for the staff we had a great time there.
