Baja — Restaurant in England

From beginning to end this place was a disaster... We made a reservation first of all for 2 of us in the end 1 more person decided to join we then called before hand to check this was fine a young girl confirmed this was fine and that we could come in earlier so we did. originally the table was booked for 8 we moved it forward to 7.15.

When we arrived we were greeted by a young man who asked the name the table was booked under he made a face and said its only booked for two people eye rolls we told him that we rang... is it okay ? he said no not really then sat us down.

It took over an hour for them to take our order which took us right up to 8.15 the starter arrived at around 8.35 overall the starters were okay. We then asked for our pre ordered mains which took only a few mins to come out which was good as we had waited a long period of time. I had to keep getting up during the meal to ask for knives and forks, salt and pepper and other condiments i recall getting up ad least 5 times which has tarnished the going out feeling may as well have ate at home.

They made adjustments to my main and it came how i wanted however it did have a very odd taste and before i could finish they were taking away the plates... the icing on the cake is when the waiter accidentally dropped the plate all over my friend who was wearing a white top the plan was to go out after but of course we couldn't as he had dropped a plate all over her he did of course say sorry which was expected any way .... but it was the most basics of sorry's iv ever heard it wasn't sinner in anyway was just like "sorry as he walked off " at this point me and my friends are annoyed when the bill came i explained to the girl that i wasn't happy with how we were treated tonight and that i wouldst be returning again her response was sorry its busy so there nothing we can do.... when we asked for the bill the same waiter who greeted us approached the table with i heard theirs a problem; i could feel myself getting very angry at this point so i said no no nothing can i just pay the bill i have been here for 3 and a half hours i would like to go now.. his response was you had a 3 course meal what did you expect his attitude wasn't needed he could see that that would of annoyed me further which was his aim. After we had paid he continued to be petty and said i was going to five you 10% off but i wont bother now.. im not bothered about 8£ thank you.

Just a word of advice if your planning on eating early and at a good time don't bother going to this restaurant there service is shocking, the waiters are rude to this is not what we pay for when we go out i get better service at my local chicken and chip...

After a lovely meal with great Veterinarian and Vegan options, I was looking forward to another meal at this restaurant. However... On my second visit, I was extremely disappointed with the service and food I received... After waiting a good 5 minutes to be seated, (even thought the restaurant was quiet); to which I did receive an apology, I then had to wait 45 minutes for my meal to arrive from ordering. When it finally arrived, there was no apology for the wait. The meal looked as if it has been left out for a long time. Not only was the food cold, the tomato sauce had congealed with bubble marks where it would have been bubbling hot due to being served on a skillet. Very unappetising. I left. Displease and Hungry. I only wish I had taken a picture of the food to accompany...

Went in on the 6th of October for dinner with a plus 1. Had our drinks, mine was fine but my friends tasted like it had been watered down. When it came to ordering food, the waiter gave us bad service, saw that I was struggling and didn’t recommend anything. The starters were 6/10 in taste, but the main meal, I had ordered chilli con carne which was almost cold, unseasoned and dry. My friend ordered oozing enchiladas, took 3 bites and left it. there was cheese present but it wasn’t oozing, hardly any chicken and the whole thing was really bland. Waiter came to check on us once and never saw him after that. We had to get up to get the bill. There was no professional customer service, very pathetic. Paid £50 for complete rubbish. I do NOT...
