Barracuda Restaurant — Restaurant in England

I'm a local Amersham resident and frequent Barracuda fairly regularly for English vegitarian breakfast or brunch. I've always had a good experience here. The staff are friendly, courteous, efficient and enjoy the service and refreshment they provide to their patrons. This is a slick, smoothly run traditional cafe. The menu is a good, portions good, quality good and pricing very reasonable. Basics done to a high standard. Furthermore, being a key worker and recognised regular; I've been generously given a small discount on some occasions which is a lovely touch which displays good customer service and genuine gratitude from fellow hard workers. Amazing place to eat, drink, relax and keep going again and again. We are a family of 5 (3 kids under 10) living local and regularly walk for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink or ice cream. The food is great, comes quick and has great variety and all for a good price.

The most impressive thing though is the staff and how friendly they all are, especially Eddy the owner. It's a real positive place and you feel really welcome. Nice touches all over the place and a super friendly welcome.

There was one person whom made the experience great. Although once we got our food no one came up to check on us, nor when paying were we asked how the meal was. One of us had pasta and the other some chicken with veggies, both had cream. With the pasta dish, the pasta was undercooked, we had asked for bacon and they used ham. The chicken with the veggies wasn’t that bad. However the cream was very sickly and had no flavouring. Food service was extremely quick, however would appreciate better food even if it meant it would take longer. Won’t be...
