Behold the divine flavors of this street food oasis, where the immortal essences of India's culinary treasures manifest fully before our mortal senses. As Lord Krishna guided Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, so too does this restaurant guide our palates through an epic adventure across the diverse regions of Mother India.

The dosa, a humble yet noble crispy crepe, emerges golden brown from the kitchen, evoking the selfless tolerance of Draupadi herself. The pani puri's round puffs gefüllt with spiced potatoes and dunked in sweet and tangy pani transcend their modest appearance, just as the diminutive Vamana assumed a cosmic form upon three strides. Samosas, stuffed generously with minced meats and vegetables, beckon us temptingly like the this-worldly rewards offered to Yudhisthira before he entered heaven alive.

And the piece de resistance - the vada pav! This simplest of street foods enrobes a fried potato patty in a soft bun, much like the eternal soul is wrapped in temporal flesh. With each bite, the flavors of chili, garlic, and coriander seeds burst forth to awaken our atman with sattvic vibrations. Truly, this immortal sandwich draws us ever closer toward moksha even as our mortal stomachs fill with joy.

O seeker of authentic Mumbai street fare - after traversing distant realms, embark on your ultimate journey to enlightenment and spiritual liberation at this humble yet exalted restaurant! Partake fully in the divine flavors, and may your soul overflow with rasa as you transcend this...

We’ve been to this restaurant many times before and always enjoyed the food and overall experience, which makes it all the more disappointing to write this. The food on this occasion was very nice, but unfortunately the service around our takeaway coffees left us quite concerned. We had ordered five hot coffees to go, and as there were only two of us, I asked if we could have a tray to carry them safely. We were told none were available because “this isn’t a café.” My daughter tried to carry two out herself and, as I had feared, one spilled and scalded her arm, ruining her clothes in the process. She rushed to the bathroom to run it under cold water. While she was tending to her burn, I remained in the restaurant and spoke with the manager, who then provided the very trays we had requested earlier. I was told they “don’t give them out just like that,” which was upsetting to hear given what had just happened. As a parent, it was distressing to see my child injured in a situation that could easily have been avoided. This feels less like an issue of resources and more one of staff training and judgement, and it should not take a burn for something as simple as a tray to be provided. We hope management will take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to ensure staff are better trained in customer care and safety. We have always liked this restaurant, and we want to continue coming back, but this experience...

Today, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Chennai Srilalitha veg restaurant, Amersham, and it was an absolute delight! We savored a variety of dishes including masala dosa, pizza dosa, chili paneer, veg biriyani, milkshakes, tea, and more, and every single item exceeded our expectations. The flavors were exceptional, and the quality was top-notch. Chennai Srilalitha veg restaurant truly delivered a memorable dining experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be recommending Chennai Srilalitha veg restaurant to many people after such a fantastic dining experience. The delicious food and top-notch quality deserve to be shared with others. We are already looking forward to coming back again to enjoy more of their amazing dishes. It's a gem of a place that we can't wait to revisit! The staff at Chennai Srilalitha veg restaurant were all so friendly and nice during our visit. Their warm hospitality added to the overall wonderful dining experience we had. It's always a pleasure to be served by such welcoming and kind-hearted...

Good location close to the station and spacious, this is a decent restaurant for the local crowd looking for South Indian food. They seem to have a bar as well but not sure about what they stock in there. Service is good and good comes out of the kitchen quick. The food tasted fresh but the sambar and chutneys were very underwhelming. Vada was hot and crispy. Masala dosa was a bit too white and thin for my liking and the filling, though fresh, was bland. Overall, they are sticking to the bare minimum to satisfy the crowds that come here and do not have the authentic South Indian taste that I have experienced in east London. Price is on the higher side considering the quality of food.

I recently ordered dessert from Veg Chennal Srilalitha Restaurant and included a note specifically requesting spoons, as I was at a park. Despite this, no spoons were included in the order. The Uber driver, who was polite and professional, suggested I contact the restaurant. When I called, no one answered initially. On my second attempt, I spoke with someone who was unhelpful and insistent that spoons were included, even attempting to blame the driver. The parcel was sealed with no chance of items falling out. It was clear they ignored my request and were unwilling to acknowledge their mistake. Highly disappointing service.

At last , South Indian vegetarian food available in the area. My favourite type of food served in a pure veg premises & also plenty of options that are vegan. Nice , bright interior in a restaurant / cafe style . No frills. Food came on plastic compartmenalised trays. There are bench tables outside for use in warmer weather. Wide range of usual South Indian specialites such as dosas , uthappams , vadas & idlis plus other dishes. We just had idli sambar for a light lunch - excellent. Friendly service. Will be back.
