Beer in Hand — Restaurant in England

The barman was very friendly, the decor was lovely and the drink selection, especially the Pips Cider, was excellent. It's worth noting because they offer a often hard to procure collection of ciders and I assume other beers, they have a reduced takeaway price. Wonderful

My only real concern was the strange opening times, I tried to go back on a Sunday after church only to find it closed. It often doesn't open until the evening instead of the afternoon. Finally they have banned vaping inside, I understand not vaping around the bar area or next to crowds of people but a polite vape at your table should be applicable, it's certainly not against any laws so why an establishment should self impose this restriction...

After moving nearer to Hereford, thought we’d give the BiH a go. What a fantastic bar/pub. I think I’ve been various nights of the week, since lockdown; beer is top notch, pizzas are mouth watering, atmosphere bis buzzing. I love the fact that the kegs regularly, so it’s a surprise each week, but they tend to keep at least one style of each to suit most tastes. I’m not a cask person, but it’s nice to see some on tap too. But lets face it , you don’t go to this establishment if you want cask. Almost every other pub in Hereford can do that. A really good micropub with a wide range of high quality cask and keg beers and unlike most other micropubs , some fantastic Real ciders. This place also has decent comfortable seating which makes it easily the best in Hereford and one of the best in the country. It's a shame that no other Hereford pubs make the effort to stock high quality ciders like Oliver's and Ross cider , most have the usual rubbish...
