Bengal Pride — Restaurant in England

Spent over £50 on take away meals for my family on my birthday. Ordered two Passandas and some other meals. The Passandas state on the website garnished with Cashew Nuts, not a single cashew nut in the curry. It was bland and had no texture and the chicken was over cooked. My brother had a tika and his partner had a madras and neither of them enjoyed their meal. My brother rang up to complain he mentioned the lack of Cashew Nuts in the Passanda only to be told that even though it quite clearly states it is garnished with Cashew Nuts it is actually a Cashew Nut Paste that they mix in. If it had stated this on the menu we would have never orderd it. A complete waste of £50 as 4 of the meals went into the bin hardly touched and a ruined birthday meal. Will definitely not...

Ordered 19th Jan. Called and placed order at 7:20pm. Still no sign at 8:45pm so i called them. We were staying in a local holiday park called Raywell Hall Lodge Park therefore gave them benefit of the doubt due to them maybe being unclear of location. They stated it would be 10 mins. Half an hour later still no sign. Called again and they said it is on way. To be honest i felt staff on the phone were fobbing me off. It actually arrived at 9:35pm. Ridiculous amount of time to wait for a takeaway. Upon arrival the food was all good. We had to microwave it to make it warm. Once warmed the food was nice. However it wasn't worth the wait...

Came from over the Bridge just to eat here after seeing the great feedback and it didn't dissapoint. The restaurant was rather busy but the service and waiting times was still very promt. The quality of the food was outstanding and the pickle tray had a great selection, we even got a complimentary pallet cleanser which was again a very tasty sorbet which my partner loved. After speaking to the manager and him recommending some of their other restaurants I would defiantly eat here again after trying their other Indian restaurants in the local area.. Value was average but the drinks were cheaper...
