Been here lots of times over the years and always enjoyed lovely cocktails and food. However recently we’ve not been impressed. I can’t eat dairy, so when I asked for the allergen menu I was told you will just need to order from the vegan selection. This choice consisted of a veggie burger with no bun (for the same price as a normal burger!) or lentil meatballs or a falafel sandwich. I asked if there was any other option, eventually the chef came from the kitchen and I ordered an alternative. I would not be comfortable ordering if I had a serious allergy rather than just being intolerant as I am, as apparently they have no printed allergen menus. The food then took a long time to come, possibly due to taking longer to order too. I won’t be rushing back, which is a shame as we really try to support local small businesses. If they could ensure they have a better way of dealing with allergies, we...

Came today for some lunch, sat outside as we had our puppy with us and the waitress was in the outdoor area already and took our food and drinks order as soon as we sat down.

We had our drinks 5 minuets later then waited an hour for our food, when we went inside to ask what was happening we were advised they never put the food through to be ordered! We were then told it will only be about 10 minuets before we received our food! 25 minuets later we are still sat with no food and empty drinks.

It wasn’t even as if the place was packed with people there were 4/5 tables taken inside and 2 outside! I’ve never had to wait anywhere so long for food and then to have waited 1 hours and 35 minuets I just think is ridiculous!!

Won’t be coming back...

This is the second time we've been now and although the food is nice, it's very expensive for what you get. The conmbos you'd expect would be big enough to share but one chicken wing, two tiny riblets and a burger for a combo and 20 quid is a bit steep. Should have been 17 quid but when you add in the sauce that you're charged for and not told about it adds up. A quid a sauce! But never mentioned during ordering. We were just offered sauce. It would be fantastic if either the portions were bigger or price was lower. But I will say the fries are incredible there. Burger was tasty. Mac and cheese didn't have a great deal of flavour but it was very...

Just had lunch at DV8 in Sandbach for our 1st ever visit........... IT WON'T BE OUR LAST!! From the moment we arrived we were treated just so well, being offered anywhere we would like to sit to eat even though the place was busy. And then the best thing was deciding to sit outside and being greeted and served by Georgia. She was just so friendly, efficient and yet professional too. We had Beef Bourginon with Chunky Chips and the Mushroom and Tarragon Soup, both totally amazing!! The desserts were Coconut and Lime Creme Brulee and Summer Fruit Crumble and equally stunning! Cant wait for our next visit!! Cheers guys!!

Absolutely fab place. Booked it for a Sunday afternoon baby shower. Wow, the food was lush & plentiful. We were all stuffed & there was such a good selection of both savouries & cakes. We had chicken croquettes, the most amazing mozzarella sticks, hot & cold sandwiches. They catered so well for one of the group who was vegan. Cocktails were lovely too! Great service & ambience. I look forward to returning & would definitely recommend!

Another great addition to Sandbach, and the best beer garden in town with plenty of outdoor heating. Staff are fully trained at making cocktails which is great to watch. Excellent drinks menu, although a little pricey. I would recommend the Flaming Zombie, looks amazing and loaded with rum and comes with a flaming passion fruit. Absolutely brilliant.....
