Another Delectable Delight
āFirst we eat, then we do everything else.ā

Food is at the center of many cultures however Italian food holds a rare passion for sharing and eating. So is the case that once again i have to write about my Joy of eating at Casa Mia.
My last review on Trip Adviser talked about āpolo rice with vegā well I have to say it was so good I had to go back and have it again! If itās possible it was better than last time. The flavour and the freshness truly tantalised my taste buds.
Healthy eating is important so I asked Lelo to make it healthy again this time the chefs added large chunks of chicken and various vegetables listed below
Aubergine Onion Green Beans Tomato Celery Carrot Courgette Red bell pepper Green bell pepper Rosemary Brown rice Chicken Mystery cheese ? Herbs and spices (too many to detect)
Easy to say that every mouthful was a joy, in true Italian fashion I was given a large portion, why not itās healthy right !
Along with my polo rice I ordered a Margarita Pizza.
The AVPN - 'True Neapolitan Pizza Society', state a true Margarita can only be made from fresh ingredients sourced exclusively from the naples area of Italy, which have to be shipped globally before you can use them, unfortunately they are no longer fresh once they arrive.
Pizza only taste as good as itās ingredients, and while speaking to Lelo and the Chef I realised these guys only buy local fresh produce, which I feel is always best. The true essence and founding foundations of pizza was to use the best, fresh ingredients available. Buying local and fresh is keeping loyal to these foundations
Nothing More needs to be said, simply book a table and challenge these fine men to create something special, the only way they know how.
All the best

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited Casa Mia recently through a recommendation and hearing good things about this place. We had such a great time and have booked for a forthcoming event. We received such a great welcome from the Owner Lello & his Team and the fantastic service carried on throughout our time. This was a 3 course meal event and each course was beautifully described by either Lello or the Chef. We had an appetiser that was a small piece of bread with sundried tomatoes and olives and it was very yummy! Our first course was a beautiful dish that originated prior to Bruschetta! This was served with a creamy burrata and tomatoes and was so very tasty! Our Main was a rustic, tuscan beef stew with roasted potatoes and other vegetables and I really do love a stew and this was probably the finest I have ever eaten. Mrs K, being a vegetarian enjoyed the Vegetarian version with Quorn but was also told that if that wasn't to her liking she could choose something from the menu. Our sweet was a beautiful array of Chocolate, Raspberry sorbet and various orbs of different flavours that played a melody on our taste buds. As if this wasn't enough they also had a fab musician called "Lisa T" playing a range of chilled classics along with some of her own tunes. We had such a great night and we have booked the next event in the Calendar but I don't think we can wait that long so we will be going back in the next couple of weeks! Amo...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMust have got it on a bad night from reading the other reviews, but our experience of this place was pretty terrible.
We shared the seafood platter to start. It came out in no time at all, which is always a concern with seafood. Some of it was piping hot but other bits were cold - it had clearly been microwaved - and not very well. They offered a replacement but we didn't want to risk food poisoning.
We also had to send a main course back as the ragu inside the calzone was also cold. The pizzas (calzone aside) were good though.
It was very apparent that they wanted us out as quickly as possible too. We were the last table to sit down at 8pm & both the service and cooking suggested the staff were eyeing an early finish. The "chef" and the head waitress both went before our desert around 9pm.I
That said, credit to the younger waitresses, both were pretty embarrassed by our experience & one of them couldn't have been more apologetic.
Shame our experience didn't live up to the...
