Lovely place to meet up! I’ve been to the blandford one and this one and I think I prefer Shaftesbury. They always have great vegan options, even my non-vegan colleague chose the vegan toastie and loved it. I come here as it’s a half way point to have meeting with my colleagues from Yeovil but I like the vibe and the food!

We held a surprise 50th birthday party for my Mum here and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly, the food and cocktails were great, and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. Thank you for helping make the evening so special, would definitely recommend The Black Cactus for any occasion!

Really love visiting this cafe when visiting family in Shaftesbury. They allow dogs in, and have doggo treats 😊, which makes it ideal to visit when out for a walk. They also have several vegan options so no-one in our family gets left out. It's not a huge place so it can get busy, but takeaway is an option. The staff are always great and can advise on any...

This is the cutest cafe in Shaftesbury with the friendliest staff. We enjoyed our coffee and the FABULOUS tiffin! We sat in the window and after reading hilarious books on dating we got to watch the end of afternoon activity in town from our seats. The owners were lovely. We are not local but next time we are in the area we will...
