A small quirky place that fits right in with Shaftesbury! Caramal Machiato and Salted Pretzal Hot Chocolate are always spot on and since new staff the drinks are always hot! Cakes are always tasty and well presented! Tables are always clean and tidy and we always enjoy our coffee#1 out in Shaftesbury - Covid Safe.

Another store with a broken dishwasher......so again I get to drink my coffee out of a paper mug which tastes horrible...... I think they really have to get this sorted out, two stores in a month and that's two machines broken and they have enough staff here to clean the mugs, It's not that crowded.

Lovely place set in a very lovely town steaped in history just across the road is the famous hovisc hill yes the one.from the advert how ever just like all chain branded coffee shops very over priced over 6 quid for 2 coffees is ridiculous But aside from that it is a decent place

Prepare for a coffee experience that's as delightful as it is satisfying! Nestled in the heart of Shaftesbury is a cozy coffee shop that's making waves with its generous portions and warm ambiance.

Now, when I say generous, I mean it. The slices of chocolate cake here are practically legendary, big enough to make your eyes widen in amazement. One slice could feed a small army, but trust me, you won't want to share once you take that first delicious bite.

And let's not forget about the star of the show – the hot chocolate. Rich, creamy, and topped with a cloud of whipped cream and marshmallows, it's like a warm hug in a mug. Perfect for those chilly Dorset afternoons when you need a little pick-me-up.

But what truly sets this place apart is the inviting atmosphere. With plenty of room to sit and relax, it's the ideal spot to catch up with friends or simply unwind with a good book. And the friendly staff only add to the charm, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

And did I mention they're open until 5 on a Sunday? It's the perfect excuse to linger a little longer, savoring every last sip and crumb before the weekend comes to an end.

So, if you find yourself in Shaftesbury craving a taste of something sweet and a warm cup of comfort, look no further than this gem of a coffee shop. Just be sure to bring your appetite – and maybe a friend or two to help tackle that massive slice of cake! Cheers to good times and even...

While visiting Shaftesbury my husband and I visited Coffee 1, there was a large queue but we waited, however when one of there regular customers came in he walked right to the front of the queue and asked the barista if he could get served. With no consideration for the many people who had been waiting for a good while, the barista served him and his partner. This is totally unacceptable he should have waited in the queue like everyone else. We will visit this beautiful little town again but will certainly not be going to Coffee 1 for our...

Note to myself: don’t go back! Today I had possibly the worst Americano that I have “tasted” in long while. Very American in that it tasted of very little. Wet and watery. And they have increased their prices. For what? Nice venue, but their coffee today was appalling

Previous review: Got traded up to a more expensive +30p coffee option, without explanation that it costs more. Watch out. Prices here are already steep. Not...
