I work for an organisation that help adults with additional needs. I had reserved a table (very easy to do) and explained in notes if it was at all possible to do separate receipts for the group as we are teaching them all about life skills ordering for themselves and paying etc.

My group was abit apprehensive as most places we visit they rush them and we end up leaving early because it’s too overwhelming. So we thought let’s try it out.

When we arrived I gave the name and we were introduced by a lovely waitress called Molly, she asked how our day was and then showed us to our table. It was incredible they made our very own space at the back in a hutch right next to the toilet, this is extremely beneficial for our group as they tend to go quite often. Not only that she said I will let you settle and walked off giving us time to process and sit down. This really helped as there was pressure to organise where to sit quickly and order the first thing they see. A lovely gentleman entered and introduced himself, his name was JeanMark and he said he was the manager, he asked if everything was ok and explained how we can have the music turned down or up and we had a heater if it was cold. He said take your time and we hope you enjoy yourselves. That was such a wonderful touch because he took a vested interest in us and knew all the things that we would possible need.

Overall the food was delicious the services is by far the best I have ever received.

Molly spoke to each of them in our group and the girls felt really comfortable ordering, we got the receipts and Molly made this such a calm experience which encouraged our girls to want to go out again.

I am so thankful to the team at Blues Smoke House they completely changed lives last night by just taking their time and knowing the little things we needed.

We wish everywhere we went out to eat with the group could be this accommodating. We can no wait to attend again! Thank you everyone At Blues Smoke House you are such amazing people, the best in the UK.

Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Love...

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. Despite being repeat customers, the visit on my birthday left much to be desired. The restaurant was severely understaffed, with only two employees working due to others not showing up for work. We waited for an excruciating 30 minutes just to receive our soft drinks, without even placing our food orders.

In the end, we decided to leave without ordering food and found another place to eat. To make matters worse, we had to wait an additional 15 minutes just to receive our bill. We had to go to the bar ourselves in the end to request it again and pay there. The server we had was doing her best, but it was clear the management was lacking.

What's more, the table next to us also had a bad experience. The individual complained twice because he did not receive his beer, and he even got his food before his beer arrived!

This experience underlines why customer satisfaction is crucial for a business like this. It's not just about the food; it's about the overall experience. A restaurant's reputation depends on consistently good service and quality, which keeps customers returning and recommending it to others. This visit, however, fell far short of those expectations.

The consequences of such poor service are evident. Customers, like us, leave disappointed and frustrated. They may choose not to return, and worse, they may share their negative experiences with others, impacting the restaurant's reputation. It's crucial for management to address these issues promptly to prevent further customer dissatisfaction.

The restaurant had plenty of empty tables, but the overall experience was marred by the inadequate staffing, lack of management presence, and issues with service. We won't be returning here in the future. It's a shame, as we've had good experiences in the past, but this visit was highly...

Absolutely shocking service form Blue's smokehouse Bracknell. Let me share some insight....

On 28/01/23 a group of us had booked a table for 7 people around 7ish. We arrived at different times but for whatever reason were all placed at different tables & informed that they had made a mistake with the seating/ table arrangement. Shortly after sorting out that small issue by allocating a bigger table, we ordered some soft drinks as well as some alcoholic beverages which took 25-30 minutes to arrive at our table.

We eventually ordered our starters and mains shortly after but was faced with a massive wait time. We were not informed of this wait period and was faced with a 45 minute wait just to receive the starters. Once we received the starters after a long 45 minutes. We asked the waiter if the mains are also coming out alongside the starts but was informed they haven't been cooked yet but will make us a high priority.

This is absolutely ludicrous. 45 minutes just to receive starters and then informed that the main courses isn't even ready. We did get our mains after another 25-30 minute wait and truth to be told. It wasn't that great. I ordered the ultimate brisket and it wasn't that warm. It wasn't as tender as advised and the chips were cold. Making it seem like it's been left on the side for ages.

I appreciate the staff trying their absolute hardest to try and give us the best of service. They must of been under tremendous pressure as we were not the only group complaining about the wait time and food quality. They understood our frustration and added 20% off the final bill to apologise for the wait time and service.

I do however feel that the management of the Blue's smokehouse has to be held accountable for this absolute joke.

I would say to avoid this place at all cost until management changes because it's definitely not sailing into the...

I'm not any sort of hater here however I have to say I'm a bit dissapointed. I don't understand that many great reviews here... Maybe because of them I went to BS with very high expectations but got served with quite average food... We had a platter with various meats and here we go: ribs weren't that tender but the biggest issue here was that the rub was rather on the bland side even though the meat was heavily covered with it, what actually only caused it to be of starchy texture - basically ribs were lacking that "kick" of flavour. Brisket was nice, but then burnt ends... First of all they were NOT burnt ends... Waitress told us these were definitely burnt ends however from my BBQ experience or even after googling them, it clearly shows images of nicely roasted until dark brown colour dice shaped pieces of meat, however we received some pulled tender meat, nothing even close to what burnt ends should be. Pork belly pieces were okay. Then next are spicy chicken wings - where the rest of the meats were quite bland now the wings were covered in completely overpowering sauce which was quite nice in taste but way too sour and too strong for poultry, we couldn't taste the meat at all. Red cabbage salad was quite disgusting, the same as small pot of sauce with some carrots and selery next to it. Onion bundle was quite interesting, a nice variation to onion rings, different but still tasty. We loved the sauces on the table, especially cherry sauce, tomato bbq great either. Dirty fries with jalapeno were quite nice too. All in all 2 of us paid £55 for average food that we wouldn't come back for at all... We didn't necesarilly regret going there however weren't fond of spending that much money for that average food, sorry... We are considering going back but only to check out burgers as they looked very nice, especially the big one EL Presidente or sth like that.

It's not a good sign when the best part of the experience is a coke and a water. When we arrived, we weren't greeted at the door, I said hello, and was given blank stares by the servers. After a good 10 seconds of blank staring, I ask if we could sit wherever. The server looked bewildered and annoyed and asked her colleague where to sit us. She then directed us to a table for 2 in the back, and never said a word. We were never asked if we had any allergies or dietary requirements. The table, menus, chair and the cutlery were all very sticky. Like covered in glue sticky. Which wasn't surprising when we later saw how the servers 'cleaned' the tables. And when I say cleaned, I mean, spraying the table then only quickly wiping the middle part. It was very off-putting, but we decided to still try the food anyway, since we had heard good reviews and were excited about the food. I ordered the barbecoa tacos and hickory smoked fries, my boyfriend ordered the smokey deluxe and the Mac and cheese bites. We also ordered a coke and a water. The food took a reasonable time to come out. The fries were disappointing for £7; the filling of the tacos were nice but the shell itself tasted like cardboard; The Mac and cheese bites also tasted good but the sauce was horrendous, think plastic cheese and mustard. And the smokey deluxe was mostly good, but the ribs were so dry, they tasted like they were days old. We were asked if the food was okay, but it was very early on, so we hadn't the chance to realise how poor it was. We ate what we could stomach, and very quickly asked for the bill. We definitely could've complained at the time, but the experience was so upsetting we just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. To top it off, my boyfriend got food poisoning. I believe it's from the ribs, as it was the only thing we didn't share.
