Coffee Coast — Restaurant in England

What a great find! I really wasn’t feeling my usual love for Bridlington today as it was very cold and dull so I was rapidly changing my plans for the day. I was heading towards the Spa when I spotted this lovely little coffee shop and ventured in. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a steady flow of customers coming in, many of whom were locals or regulars as they knew the barista by name. The menu was great with a huge range of food and so many drinks! It was lovely to see that the prices were very reasonable and it was possible to get smaller meals such as toast or crumpets with a variety of toppings at a good price. Often in seaside towns it can be almost impossible to get tea and toast etc. Not everyone wants, or can afford, a full blown meal so this is a great feature of the cafe. I had an Americano with oat milk (other non-dairy and lacto free milks also available) and a prepackaged gluten free chocolate cake bar, served warm. The cakes on display all looked very tasty ; it’s December so I was seeing the Winter range but this changes in Summer. The lady should know that what is the different between black coffee and Americano! I asked her twice for black coffee and while she was charging me, she said OK two Americano. I said no I want black coffee. Her husband, I believe, was making them on machine and she pushed him away and pour them in the paper cup and add lots of hot water on top of it! GOD! Great little tea room. I drank one of the best coffees I've ever had here. Very quick service and pleasant surroundings. My wife had tea which was served via a teapot and milk, but get this something I haven't seen for a long time and that is she was also given pot of hot water.
