Came here under a recommendation from a friend who lives locally, but honestly can't tell you what it's like as we never got to eat.
We arrived at 2 minutes to 10am, 6 of us to get breakfast before we hit the road, there were several people already in there with drinks despite the closed sign, but when I popped my head in and asked if they were open, I was told it will be a few minutes.

Read moreGreat cafe, with great freshly cooked food and nice people who have probably owned it for years. A little bit run down and could do with some extraction fans as the place smells quite a bit of cooking and was a bit misty when we went in but didn't put us off this weekend as we went twice, once for a lovely cream tea and scones and once for a brilliant full English breakfast with loads of bacon. Will certainly go back when we go to Butlins...
Read moreTo be fair cheap n cheerful.. proper old school cafe, delightful haze in the air which stays on your clothes so you get to enjoy it for the rest of day. Food served up on trays which I'm sure had been clean once. You will be mesmerised by the challenging new game we played while waiting for our food which was to count the number of dead flies...
