Buckles — Restaurant in England

Unfortunately I have to say the service has gone down hill since I last visited 6 months ago. The actual chips are not as crispy as they used to be,the whole reason I bother with the longer drive to pick them up after phoning in my order. One of the three young girls behind the counter actually told me to line up to pay for the ordered and prepared food-unbelievable! Obviously, the much older and experienced male put the girl straight and told her to sort me first,much to her annoyance. I then had to observe the girl mouthing the f word again and again and making unpleasant faces until I was handed my take away for a family of six.Sorry but won't be making the drive again and by the look on many of the faces of the customers waiting in a very long line to be served,others may be thinking twice before waiting forever for average food and...

Had sausage & chips from here maybe over 5 years ago & we always remembered how much we enjoyed them. As we're not local, we haven't had the chance again until today when we were in need of a nice chip! My wife thought 'oh dear' when she saw frozen chips tipped into the fryer ( she knows what I'm like!) but she need not of worried as they were better than many tasteless 'fresh chips' we've suffered lately from award winning f&c shops! We can't believe we've given 5 🌟 to frozen chips! We both thoroughly enjoyed them & will endeavour to try the fish next time as reviews speak...

Each Time I have had food from here it's been brilliant-great food and excellent service. The only thing letting this establishment down is a lack of official website with menu and prices to browse through. I would like to be able to look and compare online before going to decide on what is or is not suitable for my family meaning someone else could go and order/collect without me being present. If This service was available I would probably come here more often when the funds...
