Burgerlicious — Restaurant in England

I recently went to Burgerlicious on a day out in Middlesbrough, the place itself is nice and clean but there are a few downsides to the place which I will get onto.

We ordered the meal for two, plus an extra cheesy chips. The burger itself was very nice and saucy, the chips were nice but far too salty! Unfortunately the food being too salty happened to be the case with their chicken wings/strips too! The cheesy chips was cheese sauce as oppose to real cheese which was quite a let down as in my opinion cheesy chips should be chips with cheddar grated on top! The sauces delivered with the meal were quite unappealing, there was a chunky sauce (burger sauce?), ketchup, sweet chilli, mayo, chilli and garlic sauce. Unfortunately none of them were nice, I believe they’re just shop bought generic sauces, and nothing made in house. The chilli sauce could’ve been massively improved by making their own. My burger was cooked fine but my wife’s burger was burnt and far too crispy (smash burgers), so I would maybe go again, or try somewhere else.

Also when ordering they should specify if you’re eating in or out, and have table numbers to deliver the food to the table, that would’ve also made it...

Hmmm 🤔, nice new place, as I didn’t notice this place when I was down Middlesbrough last which wasn’t that long ago. The decor of the place is nice and fresh as it is new. I hope that they up keep the place as a lot of places get run down quite quickly from what I have seen. I went for a smash 💥 burger 🍔 box meal with chicken 🍗 wings. The burger was nice, cooked well and good quality. There are levels higher in the burger game than this such as sweet diner and phat jos. The blue raspberry drink 🥤 was 👍, the chicken were tasty and the breading was also on point. The Algerian sauce was okay. The fries 🍟 could have been a little thicker as I think they were a little over cooked and that leads to a frazzled potato content in them, too crispy like crisps. I would go again worth a go. Finally, Middlesbrough has produced an eating experience to write home about! I am a woman who is very hard to please (much to the dismay of one's other half) especially when it comes to takeaway night. Middlesbrough dons such a vast array of eateries it soon becomes a rather tedious task to make that decision... Will this be the best £40 I've ever spent, or another waste of energy and a bowl of cereal before bed again. Turns out BURGERLICIOUS is in fact delicious!! Beautiful juicy burgers, ratios of bun to burger to salad to sauce just "muah", Fries that taste and look like it came from a potato and mozzarella sticks that left a perfect string of cheese with every bite... wash this down with a nice chocolate milkshake and you will feel as if you've touched god. Oh and the cake-pops!! "You are so good to us burgerlicious"
