Style over substance and overpriced Ordered a Diet Coke for £2.60 was given a 200ml glass mixer size bottle. A lot of establishments do this now and I feel it’s underhand especially as size is not stated on the menu. Regular cup of tea £2.60 (1 teabag hot water and a splash of milk) We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and fries to share. Order took nearly 30 mins to arrive. The burgers were the frozen kind you get of a nightclub Chuck wagon drenched in American mustard and Ketchup. The side salad was two cherry tomatoes, 3 slices of cucumber and two limp bits of days old rocket with zero dressing topped off with 8 tortilla chips thrown at it. Just no care or attention given. The french fries again were the frozen type standard. Total bill £26.00 Guys if your going to charge prices like this in Middlesbrough for such poor quality food. I worry for your future. Lovely decor and ambience doesn’t make up for the poor standard of food and the exorbitant prices your charging. An extra star for the friendly staff and atmosphere. The cafe has a wonderful atmosphere and a good selection of drinks and deserts. It's very cheap considering the excellent quality of food and drinks they offer. I tried a few types of coffee and tea drinks and they were all great! The staff is is great and very friendly. There's good free WiFi if you're working while having coffee.
