Malabar Lounge — Restaurant in England

AVOID at ALL COSTS! (especially due to the rude Manager / Owner)! We came across this restaurant and thought of giving it a try. It all started well, but once the food arrived, it was undercooked and raw. While paying the, we tried giving our feedback to the manager / owner (person in glasses) and his response was, "I heard you, what do you want me to do". Such people do not deserve to be in the food industry, especially when small children are consuming this food as customers too. Add to that, he was adamant that we pay in cash only. When we denied, he provided the bank account number to transfer the bill amount. The only positive point was the server, who was very friendly and helpful. We thanked him on our way out! Note: Cash only. This is my first time here. I started with mutton rolls which were lovely. The flavour of the mutton and and spices fuse well and they're really tasty. Following that was Cochin lamb peralan with a peshwari naan. The lamb curry is fairly dry, and has a fair amount of coconut in the thick sauce. It's medium hot with a lovely flavour and very tender meat. The naan bread was slightly crispy (in a good way) without being burnt, had good flavour and was ideal for eating the curry with. Had the most amazing meal as part of a large group of diners. We had a buffet for the main meal with delicious starters and desserts. The wonderful owner could not do enough to ensure everyone was happy and went out of her way to ensure the whole dining experience was perfect, especially with specific dietary requirements.
