Caffè Nero — Restaurant in England

From the outside, it looks like a syrup based murder scene. The windows cakes with finger pints and smears of those struggling to get out... I took another look at the surrounding shop fronts to check is wasn't a themed decorative effect, but alas, all the other windows glittered with a streak free cleam.

As I qued for a coffee, I noticed the Bateman based promotion advertised. "Can you identify the secret flavours. I noticed the two self-serve pump bottles of flavours ready to try. After pumping several generous servings of the syrups into my hand, I was not impressed to find out it tasted just like hand sanitiser!!! Common Batman franchise, surely you can come up with something more "Batty" than that!...

As the apex of the experience approached, I found myself in a panic over the sheer amounts of historical sediments on the ceiling iorn mongery, counters and floors..I remembered back to the days I worked in retail and how those dust danglers tend to drop down onto the merchandise. If only I had my fossil hammer & chisel, I'm sure I would have found a jurassic fossil or two, the dust bunnies and layers of sedimentary coffee grids where something to dehold..

Apart from that,...

Went in this shop on Monday morning to grab a quick take away coffee . The place was not busy the guy who was serving me was constantly sipping his coffee out of a take away cup while I was placing my order which I have found totally unprofessional! Then , when I’ve placed my order I’ve noticed the AWFUL working area where my coffee was made : surfaces had burnt coffee and milk residue on , the area was cluttered with dirty espresso cups & filthy cloths which they used to wipe the steaming arms down . Also , the guys were just chatting to each other behind the bar. I do not understand how can a company that sells food and drink have this unhygienic and dirty working environment , this is a really bad reputation of the company . I certainly won’t be back , that place needs a deep clean and proper management ! This is not acceptable on a quiet...

I am unsure who served me, but I do regularly grab a coffee here using the Three Rewards app. Upon visiting on a lunch break, the app was working and I had the code ready, but then randomly the code disappeared. I stepped to the side as the drink was being made to try and re-fresh the app and get the code back, but it still didn't work. After a few attempts, I decided I would pay full price instead as the app was not working. The staff member that served me could understand my frustration, and let me have the drink on the house and didn't want me to pay. I want to express my thankfulness for this by leaving a 5* review, this staff member serves me regularly and is always going above and beyond every time. Thanks for such a lovely experience...
