Get me to the Alps — Local services in Great Britain

I actually had two holidays booked with Get me to the alps this year. The first, booked for January 2022, was sadly unable to go ahead because of France’s Britban but Get me to the alps gave the group a full refund as promised straight away.

The second holiday was for me and a group of friends all aged 26-33, in March 2022.

Originally we were unsure which resort would be best for the group (which was largely made up of beginners) and we were even unsure of exactly how many people would be part of the group going. This seemed to be no problem at all for GMTTA though and they spent a great deal of time listening to our thoughts and providing us with quotes for different resorts, number of people, and levels of accommodation.

We ended up going to Tignes which was the perfect resort for our group; perfect for beginners, intermediates, and had great night life.

The accommodation GMTTA booked for us was fantastic and in the perfect location for quick access to the slopes. The transfers GMTTA arranged communicated with us really well and were punctual . We had no trouble collecting our ski equipment and lift passes using the vouchers GMTTA included in a clear pdf with all our booking’s details.

Would 100% recommend to anyone and I’m glad they managed to survive a difficult year with covid! Hope to...

We booked a ski trip to Flaine in France through GetMeToTheAlps for March 2025 and it was a really lovely experience.

Sarah H was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the booking journey, addressing all our questions and concerns. The accommodation was satisfactory – as close to the ski slopes as we could get and clean and spacious. The ski rental place wasn’t far either and the gear was good. The passes properly booked, and transfers from and to Geneva well managed. Before the trip, we got a reminder from GetMeToTheAlps on what we needed to do on the day and before departure from Flaine, we got reminders on pickup times. It was very well-managed.

Since it was our ski first trip, we thought we would go with a company that could help manage everything for us. Now that we have been skiing once, we were debating if it would have been cheaper to book everything ourselves next time, but having looked at the prices for accommodation, transfers, gear rental and ski passes, the difference wasn’t much, so you won’t be ripped off if you go through GetMeToTheAlps and you save yourself the hassle...
