Chippenham Kebab & Pizza — Restaurant in England

Both me and my wife unfortunately run out of time to cook for us and our three young children.

We decided to order from Chippenham pizza and kebab House using the just eat app.

When our food was delivered, a doner kebab ordered was luke warm, had no chilli sauce as ordered

The chips were cold and soggy (evidence they had been reheated in a microwave due to melted polystyrene box

To top it off my wife ordered 2 slices of fudge cake which was delivered as 2 slices of gateau, when my wife opened the box it was completely frozen.

I put in a complaint with the above and when I mentioned the gateau was frozen I was met with the response 'I know it was'

Having read their reviews this has happened in the past.

I was told on the phone 'we are allowed to make mistakes' but clearly this has happened before

The employee I spoke to really didn't care and didn't want to issue a refund. I explained we were not trying to pull a fast one but the dinner was actually quite revolting

They then asked for us to send the food back to which I responded we were unable to however they were free to go through our bin and collect it (don't understand how they could prove it was cold if it is already in the bin)

Customer service is disgusting and so is their attitude I explained that gateau has to be defrosted at room temp over time otherwise it will be unsafe only to be expected to wait until tomorrow to eat..

Certainly will not be ordering...

I use this takeaway regularly so on 5/9/24 at around 8.25pm I Ordered a mixed kebab and doner kebab with various sauces, also requested both salads, that were different, in separate boxes. What I got was 2 meals swimming in the sauces, not nice, one with salad on and another separate box with incorrect salad in, seeing my wife is allergic to tomatoes she specifically ordered a salad without them, but they were in the box with the general salad, and the other salad was on my kebab but again should have been in a separate box. Do these people actually read their customers requests? Are they concerned at all about quality service? Apparently not!!! Very...

We have recently moved to the area and used this place for a quick bite to eat the first time was lovely the chicken shish was amazing and the chilli sauce wow. Then last night 25th Feb after a long day's travelling we got our usual and was possibly the worst thing we had ever eaten.......the chicken was rock hard and tasteless and the chips were fried in dirty oil which stunk the house out. Fair to say all thrown in the bin and never ever again!! I'm not one for writing bad reviews but my wife is literally doubled over in pain this evening. So take this review as fore warned...
