Normally I try to only post positive reviews but my experience here needs to be told.one member of staff, David, showed me the worst customer service I have seen in a very long time.basil Fawlty would have been proud.on entry we were told'you can't go through there.you're not members.sit there ' then when we tried to order, we got ' there will be a wait,as we are full of members today' , implying that we would not be served until the members were dealt with.during a decidly ordinary meal, David then went over to another customer to inquire if her meal was ok, totally ignoring us.we were basically made to feel very unwelcome and will not be returning.the only reason for 2 stars is the lady that spoke to us as we were leaving.she was friendly.david could learn a...

This is a lovely cafe that serves excellent food. There is a basic menu + specials, and they do everything well. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Nothing is too much trouble. There are 3 x 2 seat tables and 2 x 4 seat tables, so it is a cosy space and ideal if you find large eating places overwhelming. It is quiet with muted lighting and is very relaxed. I was looking for a local cafe for breakfast and someone local recommended this and it was a good call. I went for a Bacon and Mushroom sandwich and it was very good, served with a pot of tea, I like how they gave me an additional teapot full of hot water so you can have more than one cup full.
