So I finally went to check out cibo Italian subs , i started using the maps and it did direct me to the old shop so I switched to google and then was directed to the new store it did direct me through a carpark which was the wrong way so if you do use the maps on your phone don’t go through a carpark because that leads you nothing 😂 But I finally found it ! So I went for there monthly special which was the Reuben it was priced around about £12 or so give or take can’t remember exactly the price . From first moment you could see this sub was packing a punch as it had some weight and width to it , I unwrapped it and it was stuffed to the brim with filling if your someone that would complain about getting too much then you should hang your head in shame because you should never complain about getting too much!!. So in my sub I had a lorry load of tasty melt in the mouth salt beef , with a dash of mustard and handful of sauerkraut . This was just a winner !! All 3 work together in sync and there was nothing I didn’t like ! Love bit of sauerkraut and salt beef 😍 and the mustard just complements the acidity of the sauerkraut. Value for money , packed full to the brim ! After seeing this on food review club I’ve been itching to visit and it didn’t disappoint so if you live in Bedford or surrounding area then I suggest you take a trip , lovely little family owned business Really friendly , great customer service I will be back for the Philly cheesesteak !! Go follow them on socials and be sure to check out my socials for more food content...
Read moreThe Bigboysfoodclub strolled down to Cibo we heard they had some Bigboy sandwiches so we had to pull up and see what's happening, We preordered our food. The restaurant is located in Bedford Town along the river Bank beautiful location I may add. On arrival the blue colour scheme of the restaurant just pops at you.We were greeted by the friendly staff who served us within minutes while we waited we had a look around although it's small inside it still felt comfortable. What stood out to us was the deserts they had on the counter which was talking to us. The friendly staff member bought out our food which we must say the bag was heavy. We ordered a Steak and Cheese, the 3Pigs, and Chicken Parm. We drove 20 minutes to our destination then opened our sandwiches which they were still hot. We had to tuck into the 3pigs first it did not disappoint it was packed full of fresh tender meat it was juicy and the sauce just seemed to compliment it everything worked definitely worth getting. We then attacked the Steak and cheese the meat yet again was so tender full of flavour and not dry definitely would buy again. Then the Chicken Parm it was probably our least favourite out of all 3 still a good sandwich for someone else but not to our taste. All in all would definitely recommend this place if you want fresh full loaded sandwich with fresh bread that will keep you going through your day here's your spot. We will definitely be back to check out...
Read moreLet’s cut straight to the chase. We love this place!
We first saw it a few months ago and there was a queue outside. When we saw that, we knew we wanted to try it.
So finally at the weekend, we decided to grab takeaway sandwiches (the Loaded Italian and the Zia) and have a picnic in Bedford Park. Firstly, the welcome was so warm. Secondly, we ordered with ease and thirdly, for people who didn’t pre-order, the wait time wasn’t unreasonable.
The next day, we decided to visit again for breakfast (without a booking but they kindly made room for us anyway). Whilst waiting on lunch the day before, our mouths were watering at the breakfast menu. We ordered the Tuscan Chorizo and cannellini beans and Lel’s Pancakes. Both visits to this restaurant were sensational.
The portions are generous. The flavours are magnificent, and the staff are gloriously friendly. To top it off, the pricing is more than sensible. We’re a little addicted now to be honest. If you’re in Bedford, you’ve simply got to try Cibo Deli & Kitchen.. It’s...
