Clara's — Restaurant in England

Came here last year and had amazing ice cream with soft, melt in your mouth, fudge sprinkles. Returned today expecting the same. Instead I got uneatable, rock hard fudge that looked like it had been left for several months and dried up and the ice-cream was not great either. The fudge hurt to chew. We had to put it straight in the bin. At £3.25 this was not cheap. I would've returned for a refund, but a large school group were queuing and I was not going to make my disappointed 4 year old wait in the queue behind them. We had to go elsewhere for an ice-cream. I spoke to 2 other customers, who both said the ice-creams were disgusting today. The 3 lattes were not bad. Writing this at request of the owner as my description of the ice cream purchased for me was incorrect. I called it a double cone when in fact it should have been called a double scoop. Please don't imply I didn't buy it from from Clara's (see original photos taken , posted and re posted here) I stand by my review it was the smallest , saddest 'Double Scoop' I have had and was disappointed. Sorry you don't agree. We both have our opinions.

My family has been coming here for the past fifteen years, and we have, without doubt, experienced fantastic quality every single time. The ice creams are sourced locally and have an amazing taste (I would recommend Cinder toffee). Claras offers many drinks such as coffees, tea, hot chocolate, and a large range of flavours of delicious milkshakes.
