Attended the Whitby steampunk weekend, have been going for the past few years, for anyone who has never been its time you changed that. Even if you don't do steampunk it's a very interesting spectacle, people are dressed in a wonderful array of different costumes from home made to hired to especially made, there is no end to the different ideas. We had reached the top of the town by the Whalebone when we espied this little cafe. We called in for a hot drink. Although small, I am sure it is very busy. Great cup of cappuccino but what sold it for us was the position. There is a great, sheltered little seating area which has a wonderful view up and down the coast and to watch the promenaders along the top.
