Faultless. We were on a bike ride and checked Google for a suitable cafe stop open on a Sunday. This place didn’t disappoint. The coffee was excellent. As retirees we spend a lot of time in cafes drinking coffee, we know what we like - reasonable sized cups and hot coffee. Food, once again top marks for the sausage roll with marmalade. Of course the pressure was on them to sample the cakes (needed the energy to cycle out of Polperro), and they were great too, nice variety and tasty, and not overpriced either. Had a lovely visit today. Thank you for going out of your way to make me an iced coffee /cold brew with a dash of pouring cream. It's common for people doing super low sugar diets like keto to avoid milk and favour cream. It's virtually impossible at seaside places nearby to find a place with cream / sugar free options so that was great! Would recommend investing in a sugar free syrup option if possible but I added sweetener that was available on the table and it was good. The coffee itself is very good quality. We popped in here over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It wasn't too busy at that time which is surprising, but great for us as there was no jostling and hunting for a free table. It was such a welcome and relaxing break from wandering around. The food was great and the service was very friendly. I particularly enjoyed the savoury cream tea. We ordered a traditional cream tea as well and shared, making it a two course cream tea!! Our teenagers were happy with their delicious sandwiches - and they are the harshest...
