went to cluck and moo for dinner today. rang ahead and was told there was no need to book, when we got there we were immediately told they couldn't accommodate 6 people and tried to turn us away. After saying we would wait until they could accomadate us (even though there were loads of tables empty) we were asked to wait half an hour outside! seems as we travelled to try their dinners we agreed. baffled as to why we couldnt wait inside on an empty table with drinks? After the half an hour wait with 4 children in the cold we reentered and were offered the window seat or large middle seating area which were already available before our wait!! we explained that seems as we were asked to wait outside 30 minutes we would take one of the two empty booths instead!! ordered 6 dinners, 4 of our party where children youngest 8 however we were not offered a choice between an adults or child's meal instead we were automatically given the adult option. pigs in blankets came out black and inedible and were returned to the kitchen, staff agreed it was poor quality and agreed to remove them from my bill however they did not. we requested roast potatoes x4 as extras for our table and were told no, 1 per table only as stated by the kitchen. I also asked why my plate contained only 1 roast potato for £16 yet some of the other plates given to our party members also for £16 contained 3 roast potatoes and the answer I got was that the menu does not state how many we should each have. we requested 3x portions of extra mashed potatoes totalling 6 extra portions and it was put into 1 bowl which was barely bigger than the cauliflower cheese containing 2 portions. asked to speak to a member of management to complain as I wasn't happy with the service we had recieved or the food quality. the staff member walked away from the table and did not acknowledge my request. we paid our 128 pound bill and left, will never return 👎

Commented on their facebook page asking a member of management to contact me they removed my comment. Left a Facebook review detailing the experience I had and they then blocked me from their page. That's why reviews are so good, they block people who highlight concerns instead of dealing with them...

Booked bottomless brunch, this was the second time visiting, the first time left us frustrated as we were told cash only after we arrived and had to walk to a cash machine in the rain but we decided to give it another chance, this time bringing cash - due to unforseen circumstances we arrived 20 minutes past our booking, on arrival we were told there was no movement on the time and 20 minutes would be taken off the 1 hour 30 you get for your table as they were fully booked. We understand that we were late but felt disheartened that there was no leniency with the booking times what so ever. We asked if we could stay until the next booking arrived and we were told no becuase they had to clean the tables ... we then got seated in a booth with a table that obviously hadn't been cleaned and was sticky.. Then waited 10 minutes into our time to get served and get our first drink. In that time no staff came to explain the bottomless brunch this took myself to go to the bar and ask to be served. No staff came to take our food order until 16.30 leaving us with only 30 minutes to receive and eat our food as we were told a booking was coming at 5 and there was no way we could stay past 5pm. It then got to 17.05 and our meal hadnt came, we were told that now we could stay for our meal which was running late and have one more drink... because it suited them, but we had now made plans and the food didnt look great so received a refund for 1 of the brunches.

Drinks also definitely aren't strong if thats what you like and if you like a full glass of gin don't order the pink drink as my glass came and looked like half of it had...

We have ordered a couple of times here and previously when it first opened yeah it was nice (which I why I gave the extra star) however the last 2 times delivery has taken the mick. When you have to wait over 2 and a half hours for a delivery you expect it to be amazing...just the the photos and videos. In fact we waited so long we were not that hungry anymore so most of it went in the bin. The burgers was luke warm and the gooey mozzerella cheese it was supposed to have on it was hard! It came with soggy chips dripping with the condensation from the plastic box. I can appreciate when i phoned they said they were busy as they had the restaurant to deal with too.....but they should realise when they have taken on too many orders for then to take almost 3 hours to deliver 3 burgers For the amount of money we spent it was definitely NOT worth it. I was recently tagged on a post on Facebook Post about a competition they were running and i have now since found out if you also post anything about them that they don't like or want others to know (as I was telling a friend what had happened and that we were on the telephone to another couple who had ordered and it took 3 hours for theirs to come too) they will delete your comments and block you.😏 It doesn't matter as we wouldn't go there again but not the best way to get your business name back in people's good books. Shame as it started off...
