An excellent little pub. What it lacks in size, it makes up character and friendliness. It has a range of different local handpulled beers, I think 5 when I went in, and and good range of lagers and ciders. The barman, who I believe was the owner, was knowledgeable about beer and explained the differences between the local brews on offer. Nothing seemed too much trouble and it was one of those places where you can walk in, relax and have a pleasant chat with the people in there. No/low drinks were of the pop variety, so far as I could see through the crowd at the bar, so I just had a can of orangeade. There seemed to be a reasonable range of alcoholic options

I appreciate they are a very small venue but several in my group did not feel comfortable at all. A shame as it serves some beer not many others in the area do, with a few local cask on too.
