We visited Coffee #1 as we like the chain and enjoy the coffee. However, on our first visit to this cafe in Buckingham, we were very disappointed by the coffee which had been made too hot and therefore, had a burnt flavour. The female barista looked like she didn’t want to be there and poured the coffee with no attempt at recreating the coffee art you so often see in Coffee #1’s publicity and social media. The seats were also dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for some time as there were drink stains down the side of them and crumbs on the seats themselves. The tables also hadn’t been cleared/ cleaned - whilst I recognise it was a Saturday afternoon, it does make the cafe less inviting. Buckingham is beautiful but the interior of this cafe is the opposite and I wouldn’t be inclined to return in the future.

Lovely find right on Buckingham High Street. Baby friendly - has baby changing facilities in the disabled toilet. Wheelchair friendly - plenty of space between tables. Dog friendly - designated tables at the back of the cafe. There's also a wall of books for all ages, and free to take coffee grounds for the garden. Had a chai latte and a slice of cake. Both were tasty and prepared really fast.

Stopped by for a takeaway coffee and a croissant, expecting a treat for the £6.40 price tag. The coffee was fine, but the croissant was shocking. When I got to the centre, it was completely uncooked . It's incredibly disappointing to pay a premium price for something that's inedible and clearly not prepared properly. I had high hopes, but I definitely won't be dashing back anytime soon.

Lovely new coffee shop! I have visited Buckinghams new Coffee shop a few times since it has opened on weekdays and weekends and have had a lovely experience every time. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about their products, they take time to offer you different options with your coffee/drinks and make polite conversation even if they are really busy. The building has been renovated so well and its a modern but quirky place with plenty of tables. Cakes are delicious with plenty of choices and even when they are busy the staff are cleaning tables and welcoming new customers. Oh and the toilets are spotless!! Great for families and couples as there is plenty of space to get some peace. I will definitely be a regular visitor and recommending it to...

A Coffee Lover's Paradise!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Coffee 1 in Buckingham, Northamptonshire, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. As a dedicated coffee enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for exceptional coffee experiences, and Coffee 1 truly delivered.

I decided to kickstart my coffee adventure by indulging shots of their expertly brewed espresso, and I was blown away. The espresso was rich, robust, and perfectly balanced. Overall, my experience at Coffee 1 was nothing short of exceptional. It's a coffee lover's paradise.

I hope you find this review helpful! Enjoy your coffee adventures at Coffee 1.

P.S. The only reason I haven’t gave them 5 stars, is due the fact that the toilet was...
