This is my go to coffee place when I visit Hungerford. Love the coffee, and the Earl Grey, the staff always make me feel welcome, and they're dog friendly to boot, providing a jar of treats and fresh water for the furries. I've never noticed dirty tables as some others complain about but here's an odd suggestion....when it's busy and there are few staff working, why not take your tray full of empty plates, cups and rubbish, and oh, I don't know, walk the few paces to the counter and return it? Coffee No1 in Hungerford is the closest any of the shops have got to the original concept. All of the staff at this unit have been very good, this branch doesn’t feel like, just another unit. The coffee is excellent and Seb often asks for a Pain au Raisin which they never have. Mairk asks if the brown bananas are free which they never are because they use them in smoothies.
