Hi I’m a usually Custer at the Hungerford Chinese

So ordered I a large special fried rice,sweet sour chicken honk king style and prawn crackers. ( 2 months ago always got the right order) (been a custermer for least 2 years)

First problem I had..

I’ve ordered this and first time when problem happened I got a small/medium special fried rice and the rest

Second time I got the same again even tho ordered a large special fried rice, sweet sour chicken Hong Kong style, prawn crakes and chicken starta kwiers. (Sorry poor spelling).

Baring in mind Iv paid for both of these and rang them and said don’t worry sort it next time and they said that’s ok!!!

So stupid me thought save me cooking for the family I’ll Get Chinese again. Got the usual!! then they said I order the wrong rice even tho I order the the special fried rice large. Not the in houser special fried rice what I got. Then have the cheek to blame me!!

Hint if you order ask for the owner/ manger who is the younger looking lady not the bat who sits at the desk in her phone and does nothing.

Rant over be carful what you order they ask for money for a reason. And some how there card reader never...

Always consistently good food served. Great staff here that have to put up with occasional riff raff...I witnessed a guy slamming down his half drunk can of coke into the floor and leaving a mess, rushing out hurridly, when I last visited. Best to low react and hope these people realise that life is not about trying to con chinese take aways out of money by trying proactively to confuse the staff saying he handed them a £20 note when the girl had a £10 note still in her hand! Spend your take away money locally and lets keep the community together! There really are some very unsavoury characters about!...

As a regular customer of this place I would like to complain about the payment process. Every so often I arrive and place my order , only to be advised that the card machine is out of order and to pay cash.? If I have no cash then I'm told the bank cash machine is not far away!! However, if it is raining its a pain!! So what is happening here? How come its such a regular event. Perhaps its a dodge of some sort and somebody is trousering the cash??
