Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Two teams of two staff known serving since been here on a break holiday and they both seem to serve with good hard work and kindly patiently very well. Many thanks to them and they make some of the best of Costa cups of coffee too of the Costa brand type cuppas, here it seems. Very good Costa at Jan 2024, I think. Thank you to them and to Costa .

The audio mix gets a bit trying at times one finds. Some of the less creative more repetitive zonk beat and zips zaps, ... and the music content a little limited to put it kindly. Trying to do heads in some of the 'artists' maybe! What are they getting their £millions for ? ? Rather depressing on the mind and giving a bad atmosphere at times, in this very good place. Could do without at least some of the audio mix one feels. In a cafe on the high street as Costa is so very good for many of us not a night club or music session venue .... Much appreciated...

Firstly let me start with the service now, unfortunately it was very poor clearly they are understaffed 2 barista’s with a line to the door. A third would make it a lot better. Also I believe that one of the barista’s is still in training so this slows the process where the senior has to constantly explain to them how to make the drinks ect. I do not mind having a trainee but I believe a third barista is definitely needed then. The table where I am sitting is dirty with crumbs, sugar packets and sugar crystals everywhere more of the same in the other tables I believe this is a coincidence of not having a third staff member for a large store. The coffee is poor espresso is clearly too coarse when ground. Otherwise the location is amazing, the seating is comfortable and the people in this small...

Visited Costa coffee for the first time in 2 yrs because of COVID boy what a disappointment found out the old loyalty card has changed so now you only get BEANS for coffee only?? I had my old card swiped at the till to be told it's not recognized and then given a flyer with a Qcode to get the app. Read all the one star comments about the app and the REWARDS!! And ditched it. As now owned by coke a cola they have decided that your loyalty is no longer required and profits are king. This now puts all the big chain coffee shops the same when it comes to loyalty rewards. I suggest that you use local independent coffee shops and support local business instead as it would appear that the Large chains are trying to claw back their lock...
