Copperfields — Restaurant in England

A visit to Alnwick with my husband and two children led to a stop off here for lunch. Atmosphere was warm and friendly from the start, with the two young ladies behind the counter doing everything they could to provide a fantastic service with a smile. It's clearly a very popular place as the food sells out quickly and once it's gone it's gone, we had panini's with home made slaw and chips, the kids had lids pizzas with salad and chips. Everything was delicious and, for a southerner, the portions were super generous! I'd really recommend this gem of a place to anyone visiting Alnwick but be prepared to get in before the rush - the food is that good it will sell...

Called on for a coffee and Toasted Teacake which was delicious Really efficient and friendly service so much so that we returned for Lunch .Had a Steak Pie with Mashed Potatoes and Carrots/Peas and a Lasagne with Coleslaw and Salad . We both enjoyed them The Steak pie did not skimp on the Steak and there was a generous amount of the rest .The Lasagne was the best I have tasted in a long while and the salad- for me was just the right amount with a nice dressing on it . 23.1.25 Came across this little gem while having a wonderful around Alnwick and i can not fault it, the Steak Pie n chips with veg was beautiful, Minced and Dumplings were spot on and staff were so friendly. Price's are very fair/average and Cafe is clean and tidy. Only one thing is there is no toilets in the cafe as there is Public Toilets just over the road. I would definitely rate this cafe as a typical English cafe with Homemade Food which is very tasty and good...
