First experience of Taco Bell, great tasting food, with friendly staff, but from my personal experience; a slight letdown due to missing food & complete order mix-up - Ordering in bulk (meals for 5) to takeaway maybe a little too much to order in one go and expect it to all be there.
Tried ordering online for it to keep cancelling out on us, but not tell you why is something is out of stock etc. Called ahead to explain and told "it just does that sometimes, come down and order instead". I get it, systems are a let down at times, no bid deal, also not this eatery's fault, blame a lousy system corporate passed off as okay.
Head on down, attempt to replicate the order that wouldn't go through online, for some of the meat wanted for an order to not be available, why online (website & app) can't just tell you that so you can ammend and still order baffles me as a complete oversight, but I digress.
5 meals, 5 drinks & 5 sets of fries with a variety of different 'mains'. One drink was completely forgotten about and so I had to go back in before driving away as I'd realised last minute that it was missing, also enquired about the fries on our order (due to drink mishap) that all 5 were there, 4 bags and the last was said to be inside a box inside the bag. Sweet, I'll take someone's word for it that they know what they're doing.
Got home and surprise surprise, no fifth bag of fries inside the box, that was just full of cinnamon twists instead, although tasty and a bit weird (think of a cinnamon flavoured prawn cracker, without the prawn of course). It also wasn't a particularly busy evening from the looks of things either, putting the 2/3 takeaway drivers that came to collect with myself and another customer waiting on food. I'm not too sure if who served me was new, but 4 is...
Read moreFeel like there has been a change in management or something and the store is really feeling it. Used to regular this place untill recently. The quality of the food has very noticeably declined but we still frequented because, well taco bell is the only major fast food thing we use.
And last night showed us very quickly how bad their customer service is when for the first time we had to contact them because uber eats screwed up our order completely and when we phoned there wasn't even an attempt to hear me out. As soon as he heard the words "we have received the wrong order" the guy shut me down and said there was nothing he can do. Ok fine, uber eats is separate but he didn't even care to hear my problem out or even apologize. He tried to resolve the conversation immediately without so much as an explanation with what to do and hung up MID SENTENCE as I was trying to say that I cannot call the driver because the app wouldn't let me etc. Genuinely from the get go, he was rude, dismissive and generally unpleasant.
In fairness, Uber eats finally refunded us a whole day later, but the food was never rectified and the horrible person I spoke to plus the ever declining quality in food ensured that we won't be coming back...
Read moreWhere to start. Nine of us ordered food across different orders but my son got his wrong. When he asked if they'd started making it yet they said no so he asked to change it and they wouldn't let him. I asked them to refund it and the guy said they can't do refunds. When I questioned that he changed his story and said why should he refund something for someone else's mistake!!! I said I would contact head office and asked for contact info and he said he didn't have it and I should look at the website. Then, after a 20 minute drive home with the food, we had chicken in the vegetarian meal! Chicken!!!! Not sure if it was on purpose or just incompetence. Pretty hard to tell. Nine of us in all ordered and seven said it was the worst food they'd ever eaten. Personally I thought it was OK but would never go to a Taco Bell again because of that experience. Appalling! If I could score zero...
